Who is your sherdog best friend?

I've got too many buds here to pick. I've gone through periods where I was hanging with some more than others.

@Iroh is my oldest friend here though, at least the oldest that I still have regularly talked to through the years. Also @ghoul (previously Monopoly), @MmaGirl10, @fatalis , and a shitload of others.

Probably the one who has treated me best is @D Train. He has shown me great kindness and respect for a few years now. It's been a blessing to know him.

But let's me totally honest, I have made some great friends here on the board and off. But I have only 1 best friend.

He really is a great human being. I've told him often, and he's extremely humble about it, like a great human being would be. I'm going to meet him someday, it's on my agenda of things I want to actively make happen. It may be a while, but it is going to happen, for sure.

There are other posters who have been very good to me as well, but I know they don't like me openly praising them. D Train may not either. You know them all, so if you know someone around here who is helpful and generous then they have certainly helped me.

And you, yourself too, Cuffs. I still have your letter. I will always keep it.

He's a diamond in the rough for sure, he also didn't keep us informed about you for any self gratification. He knew we were behind you and wishing you the very best and such a speedy getting you out of there. Times like this makes us realise that all the time we spend here isn't a waste of time.

No, it isn't a waste of time. It's a real community. I speak to more people here than I've ever spoken to people in an irl community. I've made friends that I've held on to for longer than most of my irl friends. I can take these friends with me anywhere, as long as I have an internet connection. When you move a lot irl you tend to lose touch with those irl friends you've left behind. I stay in touch more with people here, bc they're always here, no matter where I go.
