Rumors linking Tony DeAngelo to Montreal intensified today. It is interesting to note that the controversial defender has, in the OHL, evolved for 4 years (2011-2015) under the orders of ... Trevor Letowski, the new assistant coach of the CH. To be continued.

Carolina got him.

Only way this works is if they flip him to Pittsburgh with salary retained.
They could and its probably likely, but what do Pittsburgh have to send back? No one wants Jarry right now.

Nate Schmidt to Jets apparently. I like it.

Also, fuck Vegas.

That is all.

Landeskog is staying with the AV's, 8years at 7mil aav

What a joke.

After the Avs, I would root for Vegas in the West because of Fleury but now they can go fuck themselves.
Yeah, I was rooting them during their Cinderella run, but they haven't done much to generate goodwill since. Kind of a dirty team too, at least in this last run.

Dont forget this is also the team who with their first expansion pick, picked Calvin Pickard used him in quite a bit of promo stuff including getting fans to design his goalie mask then October hit got Malcolm Subban off waivers then put Pickard on waivers, send him to their AHL team. Within 24 hours of that trading him to Toronto for Tobias Lindburg and a 6th round pick. Didnt even get to play for them or use that fan designed mask as far as i know.

Unless Chicago didn't know Flower wasn't going to play for them.
True (and cant blame Chicago for Vegas way of handling the trade and if that plays a part on Flower retiring)

Tyson Barrie has signed a 3 Year 4.5m AAV deal with the Oilers

So Carolina and the Leafs are just swapping goalies.

Indeed, plus it seems that defence qnd goalies are the big movers already since the free agency opened earlier already
