Just had a quick go at the latest GTA Online update.
- Find memory sticks with songs for a new radio station. Songs seem a bit boring, or relaxing, from the little I've heard.
- Found only six cars on the Street Auto store, but they're a lot more tunable than the other cars. Extra changes seem to be mostly cosmetic, but car heads should enjoy it. The cars themselves are expensive, over a million with discount and just under two without. I bought a Calico and fully upgraded its performance. It's pretty quick, turns poorly, nothing game-changing.
- I did one contract mission, which had two set-ups and a finale. It reminds me of a heist-lite. The mission was fun, not too difficult but a lot of action. It paid around $160,000...but my associate only got around $50,000 for essentially three missions, and I couldn't alter it. I'd happily keep doing these, if my associates can stomach the poor payouts. Auto Shop costs from $1.5 mil to $1.9 mil without upgrades and $4 mil upgraded. Only found contract missions and car collection missions in here (which I didn't do).
I had a street race. It was shit and it paid shit. I think that they've basically tried to turn the car meet/race into a type of Arena Wars. Winner only got $6000 and I came 5th as my fast but poor turning Calico hit a post...so...yeah...
Characters introduced are bland and irritating. Didn't smirk once.
So yeah, contract missions might be fun, and if you like car tuning, you may like this, but everything else is forgettable...
