The problem with this is that you can still get COVID even if you’re vaccinated.


Anecdotally I know several people who have gotten it after they were vaccinated. The truth is no one has definitive answers to any of this because it’s happening in real time. Blaming unvaccinated people for everything just doesn’t fly when you zoom the lense out and really analyze all the stuff going on. And encouraging and enabling people and corporations to discriminate against them is ridiculous too.

Of course you can get Covid if you're vaccinated, this isn't my point. My point is that your stay in hospital isn't as likely to be as serious as an unvaccinated person. Thus it's only a matter of time before insurance companies are going to start saying "Show me the proof of vaccination."

It's all about them saving money.

I laugh when I see them offering prizes and gift cards to get vaccinated. I drove over 100 miles to get my Moderna shots. I would have paid them just to get the vaccine. Unfortunately, masks and the vaccine have become political. News Flash...ALL of your Fox News Reporters and Donald Trump got the vaccine. No it's not the same as the flu and the mask I wear protects you and not me. It prevents an infected person from spreading it. I work at a hospital on a military base. I think it's getting sorted out on what is going to be mandatory. I know for my area certain employees are mandated to have the vaccine (physicians, nurses, etc), however others (technicians, ancillary staff, admin staff, etc) either need to show proof of vaccination or getting tested frequently (2x per week?). I read that the active duty military are going to be forced to get the vaccine, but I haven't heard it officially yet. I'm not really paying too much attention to it since I'm already vaccinated. I'm just worried they will shut down the gyms again or limit access to civilians.

Active duty will be forced to once one of the vaccines moves from emergency approval to fully fda approved. No one knows for sure when that will happen though.
