Are you being forced to take the vaccine at work?

Crikey. The thing that fucks me off and my step-dad said this about people refusing the vaccine who end up in hospital on the NHS should be kicked out. You were given the chance.

That's a pretty slippery slope to start down . . . facilities could begin refusing to care for folks who break the law and get hurt. Not a good precedence to set in my opinion.

Folks make stupid choices all of the time and we still provide them with care.

Yeah not watching that at work.

You've been a nasty sod about a friend. I know you hate me and so be it, but not nice at all about his situation.

Like I said your a dummy, I said nothing about anyone’s family, you decided to stick your fat ass where it doesn’t belong , failed to point out and quote me, and as a result garnered my attention….
Go back to your hall monitor job and stop stealing company time ..

HIPPA is what people scream when they want to pretend they’re oppressed.

I’ll have to keep this in mind so I can use it next time someone is oppressing me

It'd be pretty clear which cases were to be kicked and which weren't. States could choose to enforce this during health crisis situations.

Yes you can wind up in the hospital if you've been vaccinated. However, your chances of being placed into the ICU for a long term stay is low.

That being said the DATA is showing that 99% of people in hospital now are unvaccinated.
The numbers do not lie.

But do they lie about the numbers...?

Ron DeSantis fired that one lady who worked for him because she said he was juking the Covid stats downward. They even raided her home and took her PC.

I quoted you 3 times, you numpty. "your" a dummy in the same sentence is funny though.

He's my favorite current retard. Well, one that is still elected anyway.

We live in amazing times.

I agree, but if you look at the UK and Israel numbers its not looking so hot unless you are breakthrough case over 65.

If you can get past the name and headline its worth a read.

I have had covid and am fully pfizered, I dont feel any more protected personally. I wont until better therapeutics are available without censorship.

Might not be as clear as you'd like . . .

Again . . . slippery slope that I don't think folks really want to go down.

Yeah, very slippery slope. Until we get into a hospitals being overrun again situation best not to worry about it.

I think we just need to accept the fact that this virus likely isn't going anywhere. It's going to be around annually like influenza.

City is making it mandatory or making weekly mandatory testing a requirement. Our union is pissed. We will probably lose people over it if they stay hard lined on the requirement. They tried to do mandatory masks regardless of vaccine status but with push it has stayed as if you're vaccinated no masks required indoors or out.

I still have one in my vest pocket since a few businesses require masks and I'm not gonna be that cop who ends up on youtube due to mask shenanigans.

I guess but I can think of some anectdotes where I could see really good reasons for their being a HIPPA, one was, a nurse apparently started a rumor with a Prince fan around 2000 that he had hepititus, she also barged into his room to talk to him, after bitching out his bodyguards (sounds very prince-like) but saw him asleep and said he was "all lips" she then went and told her relative. Rules are there for a fucking reason, people don't know how to fucking act. Another time, back in the 90's, a nurse I knew, in her 50's and jealous of another woman, came and told us "her brain cancer had returned" and that "she is a goner" and heaved a sigh of relief, once of the bitchiest things I ever saw. And unproffesional as fuck. People are just plain fucking vile. I know it's off topic but when I hear HIPPA I think of those incidents.

I guess, maybe we had oppurtunities to stop it but people being stupid and arrogant, naw, we want this shit, it gives us something to fight over.

As it should be
just like all the other shots that are mandatory and most people just take without question. When I went to the UW i had to get a shot for, I think it was measles but it may have been mumps, not because I never had one but because I wasn't sure, I was an old assed college student and I couldn't recall. Point is, it was necessary for me to go their so I took it.

Is it virus - yep; refused the vaccine - yep;

Peace

Nothing tough there. I'm not saying we should do it or we're even near that point but your slippery slope argument isn't slippery. It wouldn't have to lead to other negligent acts that result in necessary medical treatment getting refused.

If you attend public school in the U.S. it's mandatory for the public good.

I was offered a pneumonia vaccine when I was getting my yearly. Was an ex-smoker and it's recommended.

Me: "cost extra?"
Doc: "nerp"
Me: "shove it in me"

There's no nefarious plot to inject folks with something that will negatively impact their lives. There's no way a company would take a large risk at doing so and being destroyed by litigation. Science is science still. We're trying to handle an outbreak of a disease that caught us slipping (even though that really didn't have to be the case).

Hmmmm
