Blizzard/Activision, how far will they fall?

Well... I love Diablo. But I definitely understand the reasoning here.

I too was dumbfounded by how terribly executed Reforged was. Things must have been crumbling for a while now. The allegations are that these harassment antics have been going on for about ten years. I'm not surprised in the least.

Blizzard reached its peak 2002-2003. Between 1997 and 2003 they released:
StarCraft
Brood War
Diablo II
LoD
WarCraft III
Frozen Throne

Six years, three enormous treasures with expansions. Now we're sitting around waiting years for Diablo mobile. Unbelievable.
 
If that stuff is true it's absolutely crazy. Straight up disturbing.

There is a story of a woman killing herself on a company trip where her supervisor brought butt plugs and lube for the trip...

Actually you can include 2004-2005 with the release of WoW , after that it was the beginning of their downfall.
 
I'm not sure anyone predicted this level of failure when this thread was made.

I wonder how much all the devs (kaplan, etc.) who recently left knew about the investigation. It said the investigation has been going for 2 years, so I'm sure a lot of the higher execs knew something was coming.

They knew. Its why they entered into a massive gender friendly PR campaign in mid 2019.

People who attended Blizzcon 2019 wondered why an entire section was dedicated to female and LGBT+ employees/players.
