Dr Doogie Howser Now A Bi-racial Female

Geez, not this bell-curve crap again.....

I don't deny gender based differences in varying areas of intellect, and if we we're talking engineering you may have a point.

But we're talking about doctors, and the best doctors are ones with high social intelligence, as it's a job where you are servicing individual people with wildly different backgrounds, histories, personalities and needs.

If you think that social intelligence is an area where men dominate the genius end of the spectrum, you're living on a different planet than the rest of us.

Not sure what all this nonsense is about, but you don't get a perfect SAT score at age 6, graduate from Princeton at age 10, and then finish medical school at age 14 because of "social intelligence". No one is going to do these things unless than are on the far right side of the IQ spectrum.

So you feel bad for white actors now?

They're too young to have played a part in any past discrimination against minorities, yet they're going to feel the backlash when they can't get cast in any roles because of their skin color.

What bothers me is I don’t think it’s possible to finish both Pre med, and Med school in 4 years. Even if you are a genius, you still have to complete 4 years of med school coursework after finishing premed and internships and a few years of residency (unless she and OG Doogie were residents)

The timeline is fine. He finished college in 4 years, which you could do in 3 or possibly even less time if you are crafty. He did 4 years of medical school and graduated at 14, which is standard. The show starts when he is a 16-year-old second year surgery resident. Other than the age at which he started college, nothing is unusual about any of this.

It's weird that they would try to capitalize on the Doogie name since Doogie Howser is so old and remembered by Gen Xers and older millenials while this show is probably trying to get kids to watch it.

Imagine caring about this.

That seems a little melodramatic. The truth is that minorities have more buying power now so they're seeing more representation because corporations want to appeal to broader demographics.

But nobody gets to feel like a victim that way I guess.

Noooo! Not doogie. He was all of my generation’s idol. All us white males just loved watching this show and lololol

Get a grip. Nobody should care. We didn’t watch it then. A bunch of women were the only ones who talked about it when it was originally on.

Med school is 4 years, pre med is 4 years as well, 3 if you are smart. That’s 7 years.

You do premed coursework during your 4-year undergrad degree. Doogie would have done this during his time at Princeton.
I thought he graduated high school at 10. His Bachelors at 10 would line up then.
