Economy August Jobs Report a massive disappointment

Do you not know what thread you're in? Look at the context of my comments.

:) Trump saying he wanted a vaccine doesn't make it "his" vaccines, and getting the vaccinations into people is the important part, which has been extraordinarily well-managed under Biden, with the only people not getting it now being morons who don't want it.

Trump removing the red tap and championing Operation Warp Speed which made us realize vaccines in record time... make them his. Trump may be an ogre, but he did some things right and this was one of them. Biden has fallen short on his numbers, so all this "credit" seems to be partisan hackery, which you are full of in spades.

Funny how the MSM is ok when you agree with it...

Is that what he said? No. What he is saying, is that when even the Liberal sycophants in the media can't make excuses and spin it for him, you're on an island of your own when you're making excuses for him, and you look ridiculously desperate for it.

You're in a cult.

Yeah, but you know that the vaccine development schedule had nothing to do with Trump,. And Biden's numbers have been spectacular. The expectations were very high based on the recent past, but the Delta wave is kicking ass now. It's quite telling that hacks can only respond to facts that contradict the narrative with personal attacks, isn't it? Like, you guys know that things are finally picking up after the disaster that was the Trump administration.

What is the federally government legally allowed to do that would have made a significant difference last year?

:) Just not lying about the situation would have helped. They could have coordinated a national response in January, as the current WH COS had called for, etc. The idea that Trump's response was the best possible is unfathomable to me. It's sad what partisanship does to people's brains here.

What did Joe spearhead this year that Trump would have vetoed last year?

Yes, that's part of the different circumstances I mentioned.

It's more about execution than specific laws, as you know.

You're embarrassing yourself.

Biden is an idiotic buffoon and will no doubt destroy the prosperity that Trump was building. However, once the parasitic dem voters who've been greedily suckling on the pandemic assistance welfare nipple get shut off next week they'll all suddenly be looking for work again and the numbers will start looking better.

And how people don't see biased attacks on Biden from the media and conclude, "oh, shit, maybe our theories were wrong." Anyone who's been paying attention lately and still believes the "liberal media" CT can believe anything.

Biden pretty bad but Trump is pretty bad too lol

Compared to Biden, Trump was Lincoln, Reagan, and Winston Churchill combined into one super-President. Biden was always a liar and a grifter, but now he's legitimately senile and his strings are being operated by leftist progressive nut jobs. He's a dangerous old fool and quite possibly the most incompetent world leader we have seen in the past 100 years.

Trump does deserve credit for removing the red tape… but ironically its also one of the main reasons many his own supporter don’t want the vaccine. Sending them mixed messages by tying to downplay the whole thing from the start probably didn’t help either.

Sorry don't agree with you about Trump at all. He lost a lawsuit for Trump university. Taking those poor students money for fake university. Dodge the draft too.

I don't give a shit about Trump U, or about any of Trump's less desirable character traits. He was a fighter, he had street smarts, he knew how to deal with China, and he was great for the economy. Biden is none of those things and anybody who voted for him did it either out of hatred for Trump, or because they are ignorant.

I agree. There has been a shit ton of mixed message from the start to this day. Trump certainly has some of the blame.

I agree Biden is boo boo.

Trump is not a fighter. Dodge the draft

You think a spoon fed rich kid is a fighter ? He's never been in a fight his whole life, unless you count his WWE match with Vince McMahon. Haaa haaaa

I think you're trolling.

(1) The expedited schedule was made possible by Trump

(2) Biden's numbers are below the schedule. "Spectacular" is only a word that a propagandist or "Useful Idiot" would use.

If you are not trolling, now you are educated on the topic. You're welcome.

I didn't mean fighting as in physically, I meant as in business and dealing with foreign adversaries, etc. I don't give a shit whether or not he was in the military.

The disease doesn't care about words. And Trump caught a ton of heat for shutting down some travel when he did. Then of course there's the fact that other than throwing money at the problem, the measures to be taken (eg. sheltering, masks, etc. ) are to be decided at the state and local level.

Trump's response wasn't the best possible. But nothing you can dream up that's realistic would have stopped the spread.

Without laws there is no execution. Pretty sure Trump wouldn't be doing anything to slow the vaccine's availability. Pretty sure he'd have signed stimulus measures since he seemed to embrace the idea that people liked him more when they got free money. And don't look now, but states are still making their own choices on how to handle things.

This isn't a covid thread. Suffice it to say, this recent jobs report isn't really the result of what Joe has or hasn't done. It's what science predicted over a year ago (i.e. a 2nd wave with more potential for damage).
