it's a good choice by Texas. allowing women to murder the unborn is a crime any way you look at it. if you're gonna be so damn promiscuous ladies, use a condom even if you dont like it.
You'd be surprised, even really ugly chicks can get laid at the drop of a hat. Now keeping the guys around the next morning, that's the hard part...
except the supreme court disagrees when it comes to this law.
i'm so confused. so lefties want the govt to have mandates on our bodies (vax, mask, etc) but also to leave their bodies alone?
Blaming women for this?it's a good choice by Texas. allowing women to murder the unborn is a crime any way you look at it. if you're gonna be so damn promiscuous ladies, use a condom even if you dont like it.
The flipside argument works: The conservatives want to have autonomy over their bodies (vax, mask etc) but want to tell women what they can't do with their bodies?
kinda, not so much. a time limit was already in place as status quo and generally accepted. this is merely a change on time, not bodies.
Don't be silly. An unreasonably strict change in time. The next most strict state based on time is Mississippi at 22 weeks. 22 weeks to 6 weeks is a massive change in time.
Imagine you are a woman and find out you are pregnant at 5 weeks. You have 7 days to decide, schedule and go through with an abortion (if that's what you decide). Does that sound like a reasonable amount of time?
*whooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooosh*
look, genius. i'm not in favor of the law (nor am i in texas). but that's not the logic that was being discussed. it's factually a matter of time. whether you think 6 weeks is acceptable or not is moot.
edit: "The next most strict state based on time is Mississippi at 22 weeks." - this is laughably false.
You said that it was "merely a change in time", implying a minor change. It is not a minor change and it's unreasonable to expect someone to make such a huge life decision in a matter of days (or less) after finding out about a pregnancy.

You're right, it's actually 20 weeks not 22 weeks.
At what point does the law say a woman can no longer get an abortion?Abortion has become too precious to young women in this country. The law doesn't even say you can't get an abortion.
I feel like you're proving my point. At what point does the law say a woman can no longer get an abortion?
And at what point did the Supreme Court in Planned Parenthood v Casey say a woman could no longer get an abortion?
If your point is that the law is blatantly unconstitutional and the people who wrote it and voted for it are insufferable assholes, then yes I was.I feel like you're proving my point.
If there’s charges then the exemption applies. So all the people only for aborting rape babies, does the woman have to house the fetus until the trial is over? What if the trial lasts longer than the pregnancy? Do we kill the newborn?
So believe all women? This seems to go against the incel agendaIf there’s charges then the exemption applies.
