Law Minneapolis to vote on disbanding police department in favor of department of safety.

Not to detail my own thread, but top water bass is my deal
I just nailed one 2 1/2 weeks ago near my bday, little shit, but he came flying into it from the weeds like a fuckin rocket.

We just had a t-storm last night, and I think that's the last I see of that. I don't know if there's science behind it specifically, but they don't jump/swim that way when there ain't heat.

We used to sit in a fuckin paddle boat and cast in the weeds for hours with the fake frogs and poppin/spinners, luring them into a strike is something else.

Where are all the libertards?

They should be loving this.

All those other departments will realise that dealing with criminals, crazies, trash and violent people on a daily basis is unpleasant.
Then they will formulate massive amounts of red tape and stipulate rules of which jobs they can attend, which will be a tiny few. Pretty much everything will still get kicked to the cops to do again, but now they will be massively understaffed and overworked.
Businesses will leave, any people with the means to leave will do so.
Then your city/gov/state will have no money.
The only ones to benefit will be criminals and anyone who might start up a private police or security business.

We have a fishing thread in Mayberry that I post all my catches on.

<Lmaoo>oddly specific description there. why don’t you tell us the neighborhoods you’re really talking about? ;)

if you think target/walgreens/etc. are gonna bat a fucking eye at someone stealing even $800 worth of shit from one of their stores, you need to be on medication.
I'm talking about your neighborhood, ya know, considering you are the one that said you're fine with rampant theft, and you've admitted before that you're a non contributing deadbeat, so clearly you don't live in a nice neighborhood. Why the hell would anybody open a store in a high crime neighborhood with no police?

They did "bat a fucking eye" and couldn't keep the same store hours because of shoplifting, so for the non degenerate criminals, they're just SOL if they need something after 6pm. You are aware that target/walgreens weren't the only stores being robbed, right, and that's people's jobs being cut when the store has to shrink operating hours?

See, this is why you're poor. You keep trying to convince yourself there's a way for you to not contribute and just leach off of others, then scream when people make the smarter play of investing their money in safe neighborhoods.

he and his ilk are why we can’t have nice things

Right on man, I don't post much obviously, but I'll check 'er out. This recent surge of posts, probably the most ever since I was only lurking here, is because I fucked up my back something fierce.

On topic : I just hate seeing MSP being brought to this level of fail. It's such a bad idea for something that is already so bad, it's designed to fail ; and I think that's the intent.

It was, by some miraculous midwestern standard, and I'll confess ; fun as fuck... to goto 'camp snoopy' at the time and spend a day in lego land and ride the shit and do the things and not worry.... but I think there's been 7 murders in 7 days this week if news serves right for that same city. Clearly something is wrong.

A trip to the cities was once a fun thing, now it's like .... uhhh ... no thanks....

With the way the city has been treating them, will be very few. I cared about my city and served as best I could, but even the admin doing their fuckery could throw that off. I can’t imagine a whole city like this.
Oh yes, they're so mistreated by people demanding that they be accountable for their actions. Christ cops are the biggest snowflakes.

lol this is a rich take.

the only personal information i’ve divulged in this forum is occasionally my age, that i’m from new england & moved out of the ghetto when i was 18 and still living with my mother. of course, i’m not a fucking boomer willing to spill every aspect of my identity on the internet for complete strangers so that will remain all the information you get. i’m a blue collar dude who works a blue collar job and i make do.

rampant theft is an exaggeration. if it were “rampant” there would be pigs outside the door with batons ready and waiting to handcuff poor people for a quick and easy boost in revenue. it’s not anymore rampant there then it is in greenwich, with 16 year old rich girls stealing $300 in makeup from their local CVS. these stores monitor their own employees 500% harder than they do their clientele because that’s where the repeat offenders are. you have no fucking clue what you’re talking about lmao

no one expects anyone to invest private business in any neighborhood, poor or rich. no one gives a fuck. having a best buy around the corner doesn’t put food in anyone’s fridge and half the shopping people do is online now anyways. the government, on the other hand, has a duty to take care of its people because its people are the only reason it exists. putting the dumbest guy from your high school in a uniform and giving him a gun does nothing to help poor people in need. resources, education, and a little bit of fucking financial help does.

by the way, go fuck yourself <Lmaoo>

I love MN, I love the people..... maybe 3 out of the 4 seasons lol (meh fuck it, what is MN without ice fishing, beer, and grandpa....)

... the shit holes are the big cities. MSP/Rochester/Bloom/BP -- Saint cloud is headed that way because of their extremely liberal policies as well and never designed to be that size. Duluth is nice to visit, but I don't know the day to day.

Once you're out of those, and you're among the REAL people that work hard, play hard on the lakes -- yer doing it right. It might be a fuckin' blue state, but it's really not for the average person.

I had a friend fly in FROM the west coast, and they couldn't believe how nice people were -- and I mean just in GENERAL activity from the shit that goes on there.

"Oh ya sure you betcha" -- as opposed be being spit on in portland must feel nice though.
I feel you man. Born and raised in this great state.

Lol, in the same paragraph, you swung from "no one expect anyone to invest in any neighborhood" to "we need financial help".

Where the hell do you think the government gets its money? They either take it from people who earn it, or they just print more and devalue everyone's money. If nobody has any incentive to invest in poor neighborhoods, the money and jobs just stay in the neighborhoods where people actually respect property laws, and poor people are stuck wrangling shoplifters for minimum wage in a store that probably won't be there in a couple years.

Unfortunately, you did admit that you're poor, and you probably wouldn't be if you'd apply your efforts to working and earning money instead of wasting your energy scheming for a way to get something for nothing where someone else picks up the tab.

it’s actually quite simple. the mainstream leftist rhetoric is about helping the less fortunate, therefore many leftists are the less fortunate. i’m one of those ones. i could be far less fortunate however, and i do recognize that.

as for helping people in need, i shared a studio apartment with a homeless coworker until he got back on his feet, which was a little over a month. thankfully, i liked the guy, so it wasn’t much of an issue for me. i also vote on every question that will allow for more community-building resources. i’m not telling you this because i think i’m better than you for it, but simply because you brought it up.

i’m sure situations like that are gonna happen sometimes, but characterizing even a small majority of homeless people as “junkies” or “drug dealers” proves you are forced to demonize the less fortunate to justify not helping them.

<JagsKiddingMe>
Come on now, even you thought that response was stupid while you were typing it.
I'm not the one who thinks that not having men with guns involved in every thing is a terrible idea.

<Lmaoo> do you think i meant i still live in poverty? i’m lower middle class maybe but i work an okay job that always pays the bills. i was raised in a poor household, sure, but i was literally a child lmao

you’re right that i don’t have the same mindset as you though. i’m totally fine with living humbly to avoid being remembered as a pile of shit who cut corners, manipulated, and walked all over people for some extra spending money. i was fine living in a shitty studio apartment and i would do it again.

people like you and i are in a batman/joker-esque symbiotic relationship. people who think like you believe others’ existences are to be capitalized on and walked all over for financial gain, and that’s why people who think like me rob you blind ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Minneapolis showed everybody in the last year they have great judgement. I’m sure it’s going to turn out great.
