Crypto Megathread V31 - We’re all gonna WAGMI it!

Fun fact, it was two years ago to this day I made my first crypto purchase. I was like $300 worth of ETH... through... Paypal lol.

It only to about a month for me to realize how shitty it was to use pp as an exchange and moved it onto Coinbase.

At the time I promised myself that I was only going to throw a few hundred dollars at ETH and just sit on it and not buy anything else. Next thing you know, I'm buying other projects and the $354 turned into $1k, then $5k, then $10k, and so on lol. And even though I've bought, sold and traded a lot of different projects over the past couple years... I haven't sold a dime of ETH. I've even sold off the BTC that I've purchased on a couple of occasions when I was up on it.

Debating what I should when I get my bonus in a month. I think what I deicide to allocate from it will just go into BTC and ETH.
Im a blue chip guy and I run an eth validator so also a eth - maxi.

But there is something romantic about owning a full, clean, single bitcoin if you dont already. I love knowing that whatever happens in the future, i own one of the 21M bitcoin that ever existed. On chain, long ass history of ownership, can't be beat

I'm 2 years next month when I met a girl on Bumble we talked for a few days then she brought up crypto as her bro told her to invest. I said yeah I'll do it too as I liked her (simp) and sold company shares and bought 2 Eth at $2500 cdn each <45>

Yeah owning a whole coin is sweet and I’m glad I’m 1:21,000,000 as well.

This GNS looks nice with its $88 mil MC

Its peers are dydx and gmx. And its a lot, lot better than them. So do the MC comparisons against dydx /gmx and see what price targets are achievable.
And if you personally trade Lev perps check out the platform for interest. It is tight.

Not a bad idea. Bern buying points of .1 btc on dips. Been in for six years. If you're in it and font need it, why not? I will gamble chump change on ALTs. I got different bags. I don't intend to part with my btc. I'll sell off everything but. I will sell my home before. If I could take my retirement fully in crypto,I would without a afterthought. It's in a distant future.

I like George's 50:25:25 allocation (btc:eth:ALTs). Pending your timeline and the market, consider what it is your doing. The shortest time-line I am looking at is 2030. If it goes up, I win, and if it goes down, I DCA in to win later.

Plan your approach to taking profits.

I’m going to level in and out this time around.

lmao no chance. I’m too much of a degenerate

In the bear we look to genuine yield earning use cases.
Dex are one, but perp trading is even better. Synthetic perp trading especially. Gains.trade I've shilled before when it was at $2.20 or so, and mostly got laughed at. It launched on Arbitrium One couple weeks ago and for two weeks now is one of the top 10 revenue earning platforms in all of defi. It makes more revenue than every single Layer 1 except Eth and all Layer 2s:

Solid and simple tokenomics, awesome return to stakers or investors (holding platform token or providing Dai liquidity for synthetic use), no VCs, no token unlocks, it is deflationary via a burn mechanism, you can buy and sell GNS token OTC to avoid slippage (and sold tokens are burnt!). And check out the token performance since the Arb launch :

Plus the actual platform is out of control how good it is. Synthetic perp on crypto, forex, us stocks, us stock indices, commodities and anything else which a tradfi or chain link price feed can be added. Leverage between 2x and 1000x

All on chain. All noKYC. All synthetic. All non custodial. Simple smart contracts so limited contract risk.

Best shit in defi bar none.
I’ll buy some. I was looking for an under 100 million MC pick up

Curious is curious????

Why sell your btc vs eth? I have taken the opposite approach. I own both. I'll part with everything but my btc.

I started several years ago. I heard about btc as a college kid. A classmate dropped out and made 250k. I had no clue wtf he was on about. He was a CS student. We had sn elective. Socially awkward to the max. Possibly on the spectrum. He tried showing me. He dropped out. Lost contact. Reconnect years later. His life changed. Dramatically. Ironic, he would be deca millionaire or more had he just held. Easy to say when hindsight is 20/20.

My biggest regret was not going in sooner and harder. When I got in, I was reading forum posts and scouring the net for gems of info.

I’ll never sell my BTC. Ever.

Last time, I was in on 5 projects. This time, I am going 3 but in hard.

Anytime you hear the news telling you how great SBF or ftx is and btc to 0, do the opposite.

I never trusted that worm not 99% of these cucks online shilling shit coins or rubbish digital programs.

Same. I'll part with everything but. I'd touch my pension or life savings before i tough btc. My fear is losing a position I cannot recover from. Worse, I am trading a finite asset for something highly inflationary and printed into oblivion.

It reminds me of trading in youth for golden years of retirement. Walk through your local ER or ICU and have a glimpse of Golden years.

Overtaking Gold is just the beginning. I see BTC hitting a million 100%. Which is why I will keep buying

Because I think ETH will outgain BTC in the long run. Especially when network activity starts getting wild during the next bull run and it goes deflationary every day. Plus I believe they'll have at least have protodanksharding in place by the next bull which will help lower gas fees.
