F***in Curtis Blaydes Cerrone

I swear to god this guy doesn't want to become champ sir.
Why be as good as he is at wrestling and think you should strike with a maniac like Pav?

Pavlovich probably hurt him badly before he had time to think of taking a shot and from there he was just buying time trying to make it to the end of the round which he could not. Look at how quickly Jones shot in on Gane. Thats what separates fighters with the skills to be a champion from those who become champions. Those small in fight decisions make or beak fighting careers.

Hopefully Curtis took something positive away from the fight and can come back better because he obviously has the skills to be HW champion.

Yeah he definitely hurt him sir, and when he did that's when he went for the weakest TD attempt I ever seen.
Curtis has all the skills to pay the bills but he can't put them together when he needs them the most...sad really.

I have always liked him, but it is damn near impossible to understand what happens in these moments with him.

It's like he's scared of success.

Happy for Pavlovich. The division needs new blood. Gutted for Blaydes but also disappointed in his performance. He might have the best overall skillset at HW apart from Jones but he really asked for it this time. Couldn't believe how long he stood with Sergei without shooting. I mean he has shown improved striking in his last 3-4 fights but that doesn't mean he should try to make some kinda statement against Pavlovich. Seems like ego cost him this fight smh.

Yeah he has all the skills, but like I said earlier in this thread...he doesn't know when or which skill to use at a given moment.
It's like is scared to succeed, and his brain falls out the second the cage closes in big fights, very frustrating sir.

You're right that the division needed new blood but Jones is going to do to Oav what Curtis should've....and I loathe Jon Jones sir lol.

Do you really think Curtis Blaydes is Champion material?

He's a front-runner, and a big guy, but there's nothing about Blaydes that reads "Champion."

He has all the skills necessary to be champion but he is missing something that I can't put my finger on sir.

You're not totally wrong, but I don't think its quite that black and white brother.

The innanet sleuths found out who he is and that's him in the pictures in the tweet i posted. He got rekt for doing that to Curtis. They found his address and everything.

He did it to himself, I hope Curtis shows up at his house.

I respectfully disagree. Blaydes does not have "all the skill" ... he literally is elite at nothing.

Usually fighters that become champion are ELITE at "something" ... and/or have incredible intelligence and fight IQ ... and/or perseverance under extreme adversity.

Look at GSP ... look at Jones ... look at prime Silva.

Curtis Blaydes is not elite and anything, not even the nuances of Fight IQ, or incredible willpower.

Not every fighter is champion material. Most are not. Curtis Blaydes is among the "most are not" group, not the Elite Group.

Name a better wrestler at HW not named Jon Jones?

He also has good stand up, good power in his hands, and all he's missing really is the mental game.
He can't seem to put it together when it matters most, but that doesn't mean he lacks "skill" sir.
