International [NATO News] What Sweden brings to NATO as its Newest Member

Shouldn't the English textbooks be updated and officially declare that English has 27 letters now?

What’s your beef with acquiescing to a common curtesy? If someone prefers that you pronounce/spell their name in a certain way, what’s the problem with doing so?

Didn't he say it was conditional on Turkey joining the EU a few hours ago or some shit? It's like this guy snorts a gigantic rail before going to the negotiating table.
Btw not likely Erdogan in reality wants to join EU.
Most likely will press for some trade agreements.
Joining EU will press mountains with papers about " green course ", CO quotas, all this mantra " coal bad " , high requirements for landfills etc etc...waste managment etc....

Türkiye will never be part of the European Union.

It is strange which ones catch on and which ones don't in cases like this. I don't think the English speaking world is going to bother with ü enough for this to stick.

Maybe the UK should veto this contingent on their return to the EU as well.

UK can't veto any bare thing in EU.
They ofc are attempting to regain power position in Europe while still had failed in reality.
They does needs support from multiple countries and invest a lot of £ to have hope to regain chances and all this for obivious reasons.

They even now does have more problems with legal and illegal migrants and unemployment for locals than before Brexit.
While Brexit advocates had lied day and night how they will protect U.K from " immigrants ".
Real outcome after Brexit: lockdown and still 0 problems for short term workers to be injected ..... yup.
0 chances to reduce outsourcing, especially in call cen
ters, IT etc sectors where comrades in offices might be replaced with offices in low salaries countries.

Btw legal immigrants from EU when U.K was in EU in reality were easiest problem to deal with. Unlike refugees and illegals.
1. st problem: support from municipality.
Did you had paid council tax etc xx months in this municipality?
Yes/ No.
If No, piss off.
2. nd problem : unemployed ppl and here again: had been tax from income paid xx months during xx months?
Yes/ No.
If no, piss off.

Basically these legal ppl from EU were stuff even simple computer program might deal with+ in auto mode.
Refugees and illegals are different world....
+ even today immigrants from all world are allowed as seasonal workers, members of teams for short contracts, students or businessmans etc....

Fuck "their" pronouns and name spellings.
English is English.

It is good for some but what about the ones that are affected negatively?
Which ones?
They are all owned and managed by blackrock, vanguard, and statestreet.

You do know one can make money being on both sides of the market? Buy put and call options on one stock, all you need is volatility.

What happens to companies within their portfolio that require a stable global economy?

Russia/China is not like Afghanistan/Iraq/etc. They have a significant impact on the world.

Erdogan is a cunt but he has enormous balls. Putin could learn a trick or two from him.

Russian jet flies into Turkish airspace, Turkey are part of NATO, and Erdogan says shoot it down, no fucks given or pussy excuses like 'but but...it could start WWIII...' It obviously didn't and Erdogan showed Putin up for the gonad less bullying coward he is.

Putin keeps Erdogan waiting for a meeting. Next time they meet when Putin is desperate for Turkish support due to the Ukraine 'Special Operation', Erdogan keeps Putin waiting like a little bitch. 2-1 Erdogan.

Those companies are nothing but pawns.

Russia and China are probably in on it too. Well, the russian and chinese "elites".

Yea I'm not sure there is much to take away from any of that when you have the guaranteed protection of NATO and therefore no fear of retaliation.

Russia was made an international pariah because of the Ukraine war and yet it's still not nearly as diplomatically isolated as Turkey is (despite NATO). If anything, it's Putin that can teach him. They have competing interests in the black Sea so they fuck with each other.

Turkey isn't that much isolated at all and never was or will be isolated. All these talks are just for mainstream crowd.

However EU type obsession with " green route " in multiple ways in reality financially might indirectly hurt Turkey and EU without direct intent to hurt someone.
Btw Sweden usually was inclined more YES than NO to accept Ankara in EU cos their own financial benefits because banking and high tech sector might get good outcome cos this if it will happen....

Plus guess Turkey knows very well is being paid by europe to keep fuckton of illegal immigrants from reaching euro countries, Turkey itself becoming EU would be a problem as long these people still are on turkish soil

The camel’s back is already broken. Let them in, I say. What difference does it make?
Read post above

Plus while true european retardness made the back break, still somehow we still standing and we may last a bit more

Don't want this guy to become one of EU most important nations, would be huge push against euro small chance of wake up

It's fucking Turkey we're talking about here. Fuck them.

Well, actually some % from ruling circles in europe actually might want to accept Turkey in EU cos their own financial gains...
While for both, Turkey and EU it will cost damn a lot of real money during long term....
All these ecology normatives, emmisions etc alone will be super expensive stuff + requirements for waste handling, transport, processing, landfills, waste water treatment plants, storage sites etc alone ......it is very expensive...

+ pressure cos Ukr refugees alone already is big problem long ago.
If EU countries were capable not to spent this money on refugees, ofc obiviously their support for Ukr might had been considerably higher. Especially cos highest expenses in EU due to refugees from Ukr had to bear Poland, one from most generous countries to help Ukr....
