I would have loved to have seen this fight back in the day. I think Randy would have a great game plan and be a tough, gritty opponent but Fedor just be too much for him. Would’ve been great tho.

is Fedor a better more dangerous fighter than Chuck Lidell?? I dont think anyone denies that. So thats what we're workin with here. Randy was able to get by Chuck the first time,and aint no way in hell Randy's strategy in that fight would work against Fedor,and in the next few fights, Randy just had to go through the wood chipper to get to chuck. Now imagine a guy who is bigger faster and hits harder. Also better on the ground.

Randy couldnt win. But I still wanted to see it.

Easy matchup for Fedor. Randy was too slow and rudimentary on the feet to pose any striking threat, and he'd have a hard time closing the distance without getting starched. Even if Randy landed takedowns, I'd expect Fedor to catch Randy in a sub. The only safe place for Randy would be the clinch, but doing that for 5 rounds without betting caught would be a tall task.
