Colby had one of the all-time fails in the UFC last night, no matter the politics, though. Just a bad showing all-around. It wasn’t an Uriah Faber scenario, either; you weren’t rooting for Colby on any level, unless you bought into the aforementioned politics of it all. I mean, I have seen most of his fights, and there is no reason he has a fanbase at all. Generic conditioned wrestler. So, in a way beneficial to himself/smart, he leveraged the support for Trump in general to fill his pockets, but now that is over — he has to win a big fight, or he’s trashed.

Hate to talk politics. But the media has just thrown every accusation at trump, it gets to a point where you know theres a reason why they do that.

Leon doesn’t really slow down. He knocked out Usman in the 5th even after getting wrestle fucked. Leon’s size definitely affected Colby along with the ring rust. If he pressed the action early who know what would’ve happened. Leon had 3 full rounds of not having to do much

Dude, everybody slows down. I am not talking about gassing out. I am talking about losing that pop you have in the early rounds. Have you ever been in a ring? No matter how great your cardio is, your feet, your strikes and your reactions get just a little bit slower in the late rounds of a fight or a spar. You aren't dead in the water by any means, but at that point, the game changes.

And again: Colby couldn't just switch it on from the get go. It's easy for you and I to say that he could have, from the depth of our sofas, but he is the one who felt his own conditioning, timing, the power of Leon's shots and weighed the risks.
