Dana White is about freedom of speech but fighters can’t wear what they want during fight week, have to wear a uniform to and in the cage and can’t mention their sponsors during their interview.

UFC Fighters signed the contract that says they can’t wear sponsors or branded clothes during fight week & during the fight, that’s on them. If they want sponsors on their shorts then they can always go fight in Bellator or PFL.

Matt Mitrione is an idiot, he knew full well of the dress code but was trying to be “edgy.” They offered him shoes to wear but he denied them. Mitrione played in the NFL for a few years, he knows full well about dress codes.

Then tweeting fire emojis afterward to say hes burning this bridge; intimating directly he did so spitefully. He knows what he did. You cant honestly be saying there should have been no repercussions for that.
