Askham KO +100 / Daniel Omie -120 is my parlay for tomorrow.
I think it has a solid chance of hitting. Askham has every motivation to go for that finish. A decision simply isn't good enough to get him by here. He needs the finish because he was labeled as one of UK's top prospects going into the UFC and he's had a couple of competitive close decision losses BUT has shown what he can do to land the KO. What better stage than a card in YOUR hometown on a card featuring Bisping and Anderson? Add to the fact, he's fighting a guy who has a lowlight reel of KO losses. It should be slaughter to the lambs to showcase UK's rising talent with similar bouts like Tom Breese being fed poor Nakamura.
Daniel Omie is fighting a guy in HIS debut who started MMA at the ripe old age of 28 with a powerlifting background. Holy shit I was actually joking about him looking like a night club bouncer in a previous post and it turns out I read his recent interview saying he worked as a bouncer lol. Meanwhile Omelette over here was competing in local Muay Thai tournaments. I'm not talkign down on Danho's skills I'm just saying, a guy making his UFC debut with a huge amount of inexperience compared to Omie's 4 UFC fights and has had 17 more pro MMA fights than he has. I'll just say this, I've really only 1 fight of Dano's which was that one somewhere in this thread, and you can clearly see that he's inexperienced in BJJ when the dude from bottom got up and he TOOK dano's big ass down and that dude landed in side control easily which is Omelette's favorite position. You may be concerned that this is a HW fight and that it only takes 1 punch, true. As Bob Barker would say, The price is right -120.
