Sure, people can self-identify with where they are born/live however they like. Israel was born in Africa and is African. But him winning is an achievement for an African, where as DDP winning would be an achievement for Africa. (P.S Marcus Davis is NOT Irish). Saw this on Twitter earlier...

Well he didn't create his wealth in Africa did he, nor does he live there. That's the point.

So yeah, that's why there's validity to DDP differentiating his (potential) achievement. Just because he's a prick it doesn't mean he's not successful.
