Best thing for them to do would be to not release it, then give vague hints about "irregularities" and "inconsistencies" that are very, very complex and suspicious...perhaps someone with more funds would be able to fully investigate them one day?!

they have three choices. they can release whatever they found and have everything debunked in 10 minutes and once again become another laughing stock of the republican party. they can try to spin and twist and lie, about the election results and get their cheeks clapped with lawsuits from companies and government officials who can afford to hire competant lawyers and they will still have the truth come out about their findings, or lack of findings, in court. or they can delay delay delay delay delay delay delay. fake the covid, delay delay delay delay, and delay some more until they think everybody has forgotten about it and it will all just go away. then they can just take the pile of money they grifted their base for, who are literally as dumb as shit, and then ride off into the sunset
