Not sure how many people here are interested in this sorta music. But Chicago i'd say in the last 10ish years or so had some interesting talent coming up. and now they are mostly all dead....pretty sad stuff. good song about some of them, but Duck himself (who was pretty decent) is also dead......silly shit what's happening out there.

Chief Keef hiding out in LA.

Probably not even safe there. Some rapper got popped in the Hollywood Hills not that long ago.
pop smoke from NY was not built the same as chief keef and lil durk . durk confronted rapper the game at a club. pop smoke was moving like an idiot in L.A and left his address out there. freddo santana could have been huge but he died of organ failure from drugs.
 
It's tough to see. There's a lot of passion and energy in these guys, the ambition is undeniable. They're completely lost though and trapped in a cycle of pointless violence. It's a damn shame the gangster shit took off and "woke" rap became so niche. The old heads were trying to warn the young guns that the shit wasn't worth it and it only made it worse when it went commerical.
