ITV News can reveal since Sarah went missing, 77 women have been murdered where a man is the principal suspect.
It brings the total so far this year to 105, according to Counting Dead Women – a group that tracks femicide in the UK.

Tracking those statistics, Karen Ingala-Smith the co-founder of the Femicide Census and Counting Dead Women believe that number will grow by the end of the year.

"There are 37 women who are going to be killed violently before the end of the year. Many of them know now that their life is at risk, many of them are in fear of being killed," she said.

I don't think there is an epidemic of violence against women. Things like this are horrific but it's not like they're common. Everyone thinks violence against women is horrible and the vast majority of people would step in when they see a woman being assaulted etc. There are like 70 million people living in the UK and incidents like this are still so rare that they're shocking news when they do happen. I don't think laws or movements are going to do anything to help prevent these incidents, as they're already rare and when they do happen the justice system prevails and the perpetrator gets a long jail sentence for targeting a vulnerable woman (aggravating factors are already included in the justice system). I think the media is just trying to push an agenda as usual, trying to create fear and bickering amongst the people. Our media has gone so far into propaganda it's hard to put any trust in them at all anymore. RIP though and I hope her attacker spends the rest of his life in prison. The answer to violence against women is for women to report incidents when they do happen, as violence against women is already treated seriously in our justice system.

Each death is tragic, but this "epidemic" is a left wing scam. They are not interested in what is really going on or on real solutions.
