Movies Favourite R Film of 1988

A lot of greats on the list and it seems impossible to pick against Die Hard but I have long maintained that Coming to America is the funniest movie ever made.

Holy fuck that's a tough list. My sons middle name is Akira. (Not really into manga but a friend I used to flat share with had it and loved that movie) Coming to America is a classic. Bloodsport obviously martial arts classic too and They Live is great. Had to give it to yippee ki yay motherfucker but hard choice.

These were movies I wasn’t supposed to watch, but I saw almost all of them.

What an awesome time. I remember having sleep overs and playing Nintendo all night and then throwing on a VHS or two of one these movies.

I didn’t vote. Too many awesome movies on that list.

I remember having to rent a VHS player for sleep overs and birthday parties, they weren't affordable at all at first. It was a great era and too hard of a list for me as well to pick from...to many different genres

Hah I remember reading the unbearable lightness of being while trying to schtup some coed back in college. She recommended it to me and like a simp I actually read it.

For 1988, I’ll go with Nightmare on Elm Street 4: Dream Master.
