If Chimaev beats Usman and then wins the MW title against Strickland, was it well earned?

people are finding ways to discredit khamzat, the only issue is ddp is more worthy but khamzat is the next big thing that ufc tried to prop up for years now so understandable

Yes, it’s well earned. DDP deserves it more but that doesn’t mean Khamzat isn’t deserving. Ideally DDP would get his shot first but Dana and Co are gonna do what they want rather than what makes ethical sense from a competitive standpoint.

Beating Burns and Usman and being an exciting fighter has to earn Khamzat something. DDP was offered a shot, wanted time, gets lots of time for whoever wins the title. Honestly if DDP showed up he would've beat that version of Izzy that Strickland did.
