He was training with Rugby League team Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs. They got a bit of a reputation as being dodgy mfs. They are a team from South-West Sydney. Might just mention Rugby League is not the same sport as Rugby Union and one wouldn't usually call Rugby League "Rugby", even though they are very similar sports. At least that's the case in Australia, might be different elsewhere.
