Elon Musk may have said the deal is back on, but his legal fight with Twitter is still producing some eleventh-hour twists and turns.

In a late Monday filing with the Delaware Court of Chancery, Judge Kathaleen McCormick weighed in on Twitter's request for additional discovery around potential messages between Musk's inner circle and the Twitter whistleblower, former head of security Peiter “Mudge” Zatko. While Zatko has stated under oath that he did not contact Musk or his team, Twitter wants to keep looking in light of a mysterious email from May 6 that turned up in the files of Quinn Emanuel, a legal firm that represents Musk.

Specifically, someone reached out with an anonymous ProtonMail account on that date purporting to be a "former Exec at Twitter leading teams directly involving Trust & Safety/Content Moderation." In the email, the sender suggests that Musk’s team get in touch on another platform (through “alternate secure means”) in order for them to provide

Here we go, an app that does "everything". Musk might sound anti-woke but he's 100% dystopian hell hole. No thanks!

After news of the deal's reinstatement, Mr Musk said that "buying Twitter is an accelerant to creating X, the everything app".

And he said that buying the platform has brought forward his X project by three to five years, "but I could be wrong". He gave no further details.

The idea behind X is a sort of super app, combining messaging, social media, payments-and lack of reliance on ad revenue, similar to the Chinese WeChat. That already has more than one billion users, but so far no equivalent exists in the West.

Buckle up snowflakes
Yup, TrumpDerp snowflakes better buckle in as more disappointment and their love and hate affair with Elon is taking another turn.

We will quickly learn if Musk is serious if he won't wave his condition of the lawsuit being dropped first as a condition for him to proceed. No lawfirm of any value would allow that. They would 'stay' the action, as that is normal, but not drop it. The Stay always happens as you are not in court at the same time you are negotiating in good faith. You just pause the litigation and then proceed after, if no resolution is met.

If Elon refuses to remove that ridiculous condition then he is not serious.

This is the real nugget imo. And that Musk text exchange that leaked a few days ago was someone letting him know what's really at stake. Lot of people in Musk's texts probably don't want their private conversations showing up in Twitter discovery and then subsequently leaked to the internet. Anyone really curious about the specifics in how the economic elite are manipulating the economic system we're all playing in should have been hoping that stuff hits the web at some point.

I just love how years ago when I pointed out this dude was an absolute scamlord trying to takeover the world people laughed and wondered what I was worried about, and now years later everyone else won't stfu about him.

It's wildly sad how much credibility this guy has with chuds while being such an obvious conman who relies on cartel tactics with his rich buddies.
