Yup, add in the fact that Capitol Police were egregiously under staffed despite requests for help by the director. It would have been Pelosi and Mitch that would have approved more help, yet the didn't despite all of the warning signs.

Ultimately Trump got played. He was playing checkers and they were playing chess, now we are going to watch civil liberties ripped from us and speech thrown out to quell "domestic terrorism".
