My dad left when I was 2. And I'm pretty successful. But that means absolutely nothing in the grand scheme. The vast majority of black children living in broken homes do not turn out the same way.

And these stats are not unmarried couples. We are talking 1 parent(mother) households.

Also, this mandate will only widen the gap between Asian/whites and black children. Because Asians and whites will seek private school or tutors. This type of thinking will create more black men destined for prison.

Dude, do you really assume EVERYONE who supports drug decriminalization/legalization is a druggie themselves? The only illegal drug I've ever done is marijuana (which isn't even illegal in my area anymore) and I haven't done it in about 20 years. I barely even drink. Do you think Ron Paul is an addict or something instead of someone who's guided by libertarian principles? I'm a left libertarian.

The number of white people in the US has decreased for the first time and overdoses plays a part in that. The opioid crisis is causing a lot of problems particularly for working-class whites.

I don't think I've even mentioned it.

I got involved with a point about cultural superiority and it kind of went from there.

There was a teacher in the discord that mentioned that the usual people were getting upset about this but it's all about a single test so it seemed silly. I don't know anything about the test, what it changes or how important it is, so I'm not discussing it. If this spirals out of control like the CRT panic I'll look into it, but I think this is just the complaint du jour.

That's actually a popular assumption that has been proven to be quite mistaken. Look into what is happening in New York in the elite schools largely developed to help raise underprivileged kids out of poverty, like The Bronx High School of Science or Stuyvesant.
