We work with some mexican brands here in Europe if you wantSo with all the complaints of NS, what's the consensus best Grant clone? Hecho en México of course. Or just Mexican style glove. Want some 12ozers for the bag and mitts.
NS are no bad, but the contact with them is a pain in tha ass. Didn't have Grant gloves so can't tell you if it's good Grant clone. So with all the complaints of NS, what's the consensus best Grant clone? Hecho en México of course. Or just Mexican style glove. Does he not cooperate with New Sporting? 95er Athletic Club is his Instagram? This Torres Medina gloves looks exactly as New Sporting gloves.Reach out to Juan and he’ll get you a pair of mexican gloves. Easy to work with and takes PayPal. I recommend his brand Torres Medina. If you want custom, he’ll give you a time estimate and will actually stick to it. [email protected]
Plus he speaks English

I am very curious on the new company Salvador Fight Gear. Check them on instagram. They are releasing the gear right now. It's mexican made, but not Grant clones

That's suprise for me. I assumed that from his previous experience with MXN brand. So Nick also has troubles with his Mexican suppliers and turned into China? They are not made in Mexico.
Nick, like everyone else, was getting fed up of the constant delays and poor service. His new brand is made in China.
Yea Promex are garbage. I have a brand new 18 oz that I don't know what I'm gonna do with it yet lolphotos
That can't be good. They are not made in Mexico.

what sizes are the gloves and how would you rate the c17 compared to the other gloves?
Get other gloves, imoHey guys, i bought the Fairtex BVG-1 14 oz original from Thailand. I used it for some weeks but the padding does not get comfortable for me. I have knuckel pain and i think i have to sell the gloves and also have to do a break to let my knuckels heal.
What is your opionion?
Sell the gloves and get other ones? Which one would you prefer?
I do boxing 3 times a week with light sparring sometimes.
I would love to buy one pair for everything.
My other pair of gloves are the RDX Ace 14 oz
UMA IR 14 oz custom, C17 (with minor defect) 16 oz, BGV9 14 oz, Raja 16 oz, and RDX 14 oz.
I only used the C17 3 times and knowing that they have a minor defect it would be unfair to judge them like it was a normal pair with no defect, but i got to say that so far i liked them, i thought they would have no pop on the bag but they have, the padding feel like is gonna last and the leather is very good (just behind the bgv9 imo), they might become my favorite pair once i break them in, but each glove (except rdx) has his pro and cons, overal the uma is the more complete, confortable, good pop on the bag, nice for sparring and pretty well balanced, opening the hand and making a good fist is equally easy, the bgv9 has the best leather, the best pop on the bag, easy to make a fist but cant use them for sparring and cant open the palm, the raja feel super light, love them for sparring, but making a fist is a little hard, it seems to be a "clincher glove" imo, and i feel like they wont last as long as the other gloves.
Thanks for the info. How is the profile of the c17 are they wide and what about the pocket?
TMs look great. What is the 'soft' padding like? Was thinking of something similar for my next pair except with a white inner thumb like a Reyes fight glove.
Got these today from Juan Torres.
Probably not going to use the Campeon, which have a quality leather similar to Reyes and are pretty well made but with some minor mistakes (but not any which affect durability/performance), very rough interior, fairly deep finger pocket but the thumb is well too short for me so I'm likely just going to sell them off. Nice gloves I'd say.
TMs are 16oz. Campeon is 12oz.
