that wasn't a "pray" that was a whooping.
i think of lay and pray and winning rounds on the way to a decision. not finishing the fight and leaving the guys face a mess

For me lnp is when you don't posture up for effective gnp or try a sub. Basically when you have full mount or another dominant position but you don't go for the finish. You try to accumulate damage.

Naturally because of his size and the amount of chemistry in his body, his lnp is a bit deadlier.

In Werdum's first run in the UFC, they were. When JDS knocked tko'd him. Brock's debut was UFC 81

Well in this case he was at bottom of ladder. Like today's good LHW's, they were around when the division was awful. Doesn't mean the division wasn't awful. Maybe there's a MW superstar low in the ranks right now. Fighters don't instantly get there and get to the top. Lesnar was a special case because of his fame.

Werdum, pretty easily. Better stand up, better submissions, better cardio, all Lesnar has are takedowns and maybe landing a good punch. Werdum does sometimes come out with terrible gameplans, but unless he throws the fight away, it's his.

Werdum is like the worst match up possible for Brock lol. Especially if we're talking about flying kick on Browne, new found love for Muay Thai Werdum.

Brock could easily out muscle him and slam him to the ground, but he just ends up a inescapable submission. We've seen seasoned vets like Ubereem play with fire on the mat with Werdum, but Brock could never employ that game plan.

UFC tilte run version of Werdum assaults him on the feet and finishes him there or makes him panic wrestle into a choke. His best bet is land a big hammer like he did on Herring or Couture and that's not good odds.
