Routinely inconsistent

Driving back and forth trying to get the new house set up, while still working ,haven’t had much time to sleep/eat well let alone workout. But I’ve been looking at videos and reading articles at work and just stumbled across this video. This is my back pain to a T. Hopefully this is the beginning of the end!

 
Almost all settled in to the new house, just need to buy a bit more furniture.


Power rack/start of my home gym is up and running. Did some light squats/bench/rows today. If I’m not sore tomorrow, I’ll be starting Madcow! Pumped.
 
Was pretty sore, played an hour of pickup hockey with 2 subs per side, and was even more sore.

Did some light squats yesterday to get the blood flowing.

First day of Madcow was this morning, and it went really well.

Felt like I worked out, but I wasn’t dying after. It was nice. Lol
First 4 weeks should go by nicely the first time you do it. However I distinctly remember thinking omg how the fuck am I going to progress for 12 weeks starting here!!! But as you go, you get better and better. Its all about effective work volume. I love this program.

I need to buy more 10lbs plates, couldn’t quite get the weight I needed for deads.

Haha not at all! 45lbs are just a warmup, and that one OHP rep at 130lbs was suppose to be 5. I just checked my inputs and i had punched in the wrong number!, so failure was inevitable. I’ve corrected the issue and will be crushing weights in no time!

Been chugging along with Madcow. My dead’s were stalling a bit due to callus pain on my left hand. Finally got a pumice stone, and no more pain! Now I know that my grip just sucks. Lmao

Getting my ass beat at bjj is definitely fun though.
