International Russia/Ukraine Megathread V15

Some trusted Russian Telegram channel allegedly reported he was first raped (like by some object) and then murdered to cover up the torture. He was suspected of being an American spy for taking pictures near the front. This is the story I read on Reddit about the incident. FAFO.
He's not a spy he was too public about his hate for liberal America. He was one of those I love Putin's Russia more then the US nut jobs from 2015. He could not stand Obama period. You pro Putin hacks on Sherdog join this guy's life in Russia.

Oh I know. Apparently he was doing quite decent until the end. He had a Russian wife and people there liked him.

It seems like he thought of himself as a war journalist or something, documenting the life on the front. However with how rampant alcohol and drug abuse are as well as paranoia, I am not surprised they ultimately killed for thinking he's a spy.

Russians claim they have captured Ocheretyne, and it seems to be corroborated by Ukrainian sources.

Supposedly one brigade left position without order while nearby units were rotating, and caused a gap in the defenses.

Next major battle will be Chasiv Yar, which is the last elevated position for miles.

Reddit combat footage of russian bodies being torn in half by the drone explosives got to be the most satisfying thing to see. Wish those videos were shown in russland.

Not me personally. I see a lot of the Russian soldiers as victims of circumstance. A lot were forced into this and had no choice. A lot are young kids barely out of their teens.

Long range attack balloons ftw!

Russia looking more an more desperate. More then a few Russians have said the recent voting by Congress has made huge waves in Russia not in a good way for Putin.

Marge is getting clobbered on the right an Mike Johnson is the new power on the right. On a side note Trump thanked Mike an called him a good man.

I think Trump recent change an thanking Mike means he knows Putin could end up drunk falling out of a window.

The Biden administration is preparing a new aid package for Ukraine that is expected to be worth around $1 billion, multiple sources familiar with the matter told CNN, and is set to be approved by President Joe Biden after the Senate passes a new foreign aid funding bill as soon as Tuesday afternoon.

In briefings to Congress in recent weeks, administration officials have indicated that the US will likely send Ukraine long-range ATACMS, or Army Tactical Missile Systems, for the first time as part of the new aid package, three of the sources said.

Ukrainian officials have been asking the US both in private and in public for the long-range missile to target deeper behind Russian lines. American officials have resisted, citing both supplies and further provoking Moscow as excuses.

Last fall the US first sent Ukraine the midrange variant of the missile system, which can reach about 100 miles, while the longer-range version can reach as far as 190 miles.

The package is also expected to include more desperately needed munitions for Ukraine, including air defense and artillery ammunition, Bradley fighting vehicles and demolition weaponry, the sources said.

The text of the legislation passed by the House and set to be approved by the Senate requires the administration to transfer the coveted longer-range ATACMS “as soon as practicable,” unless the president determines that doing so would be detrimental to US national security interests.

The military aid will be sourced from the US’ own stockpiles through a funding mechanism known as presidential drawdown authority, or PDA, and will be the first PDA package for Ukraine since March. It will be significantly larger than that package, however, which was worth only around $300 million that the Pentagon was able to"
