Shavkat vs Colby makes a lot of sense

Have to disagree; Colby is a prize fighter, so he cares about the fight that gets him the most $$$ with the least risk. Wonderboy accomplishes exactly this, therefore, it’s the best fight for him. Not throwing shade at your assessment here, but I think Colby knows what he’s doing. Hard to think of someone who has done more with less. WB was the right callout.

Oh but I agree with you. Colby always minimizes risks and maximizes rewards. He's smart on that. On the other hand Wonderboy would rather fight a striker than Colby and Dana would see no problem in using Colby to build Shavkat so there's that

Great fight; but from a rankings perspective it makes less sense little sense.
Shavkat is new unbeaten contender who has never been to a decision.
Colby is currently on a 3-3 streak (all loses competitive) with only 1 finish in that time.

If Shavkat wins his next bout, he’s essentially guaranteed a title shot.
Colby should be fighting another top contender coming off of a loss; which could still to set him up four a potential follow up title eliminator if the first fight goes well.
