In terms of skills, Ostovich is superior. She has a little wrestling and topgame, can throw a competent jab, and can kick a tiny bit. That's better than Mazany, who is a complete embarrassment at every aspect of fighting.

On the flipside, Ostovich has a charming habit of flat-out quitting in fights when they get hard, which was evident against de la Rosa and Paige van Zant. She is also dead meat off her back and has a suspect chin. She is also tiny at 125 and will give up a lot of size to Mazany, coming down from 135.

However, Mazany ALSO quits in fights as soon as she takes even one remotely hard shot, as both the Chiasson and Avila fights attest to. Hell, if you slow the sequence down, Mazany is turning her back and going to curl up in the fetal position against Avila before even being cleanly hit a single time!

Neither of these girls is remotely serious or interested in being a fighter, and are merely doing it for a paycheck. Which one wins? Damned if I know.

I would take a blind stab on whoever the dog is at +200 or more, but I'm presently only being offered +125 on Ostovich.

Amazingly, Ashlee Evans-Smith, who stole medical supplies during the pandemic, and Norma Dumont are the significantly higher-level WMMA match.

I like the props for Spike Carlyle ITD +150 and by TKO/KO +450 vs Bill Algeo, if he learned any lessons from his last fight and doesn't gas as quickly he could get it done.
 
I will be criticized for saying this but i like Lewis as the underdog bet. Its looking like a sketchy card for underdogs with only few fights that i am seeing which are worth looking into for some underdogs.

I'm taking Parisian -210, he has size, reach and skill advantage. Plus Porter looked pretty bad in his last fight.
Blaydes itd -130. Derrick isn't going to stop Blaydes take downs and he will be completely gassed by round 3 if not earlier.
 
I wouldn't be shocked at all to see Blaydes actually win this fight on the feet and finish Lewis on the ground. Lewis can absolutely be blitzed standing, especially if he's looking to defend a takedown.

I wouldn't like that, Blaydes standing isn't good and his chin is not up to scratch

Stand up is good enough to finish JDS, who kicked Black Beast’s ass a year and a half ago. Blaydes is getting better every time we see him, too.

Chin is good enough to stay undefeated unless facing Ngannou, who seems to KO just about anyone he touches.

Side with any fighter you want, but that was a load of bs :rolleyes:

I didn't say Blaydes can't win the fight standing, I said I wouldn't like to see him approach the fight that way. Also, fuck off.

I don't know man, other than Soukhamthath, I can't really think of any fighters off the top of my head who are better at throwing away winnable fights than Ostovich.
This matchup is gonna be a battle of who can potato first & harder.
 
So I totally forgot who Norma Dumont was until I recalled she was the one who fought Megan Anderson a while ago. Then I was like, "how could I forget one of the best asses in UFC?" Oh yes. Glorious fight this will be.

You stated that you wouldn’t like it because his stand up isn’t good and his chin isn’t ”up to scratch”. I pointed out that you were off, based on the actual fights he’s had. Don’t get offended, buddeh.

No one is saying he should stand and bang with Black Beast. He’ll most certainly utilize his wrestling to put it on Lewis.

I guess somebody beat me to it but Blaydes chin seems pretty solid. He has eaten more Ngannou ford escorts than anyone else without getting completely flatlined.
