Green had a great chin b4 but all those wars had caught up to him. I think his chin is cracked now. He can still win this fight if he executes a good game plan cuz he has the skill to do it. Green can hang in the clinch with Klose. His wrestling is solid. He has better hands than Klose. Klose has a really effective low kick which one of his main weapons. Dont rememner Green being good at checking kicks. A few of those land and it's trouble.
Yep, that's one of the things I noticed in my analysis. Green can be leg-kicked with complete impunity (no counters, shots, or anything), he doesn't check them, and they clearly hurt him.
That's a problem against Klose, who has fast, powerful kicks to the legs and body. I don't think Green can hang in the clinch with Klose, though. His wrestling is decent, but a level lower than Klose's. Keep in mind that Vannata had an edge wrestling against Green, whereas Klose dominated Vannata in that regard.
That's not even considering how much better Klose's cardio is, as I predict he will have his way with Green beginning with the middle of the second.
And Green might have better pure boxing, although Klose is okay in that regard, and showed improvement in the Vannata fights, but that's not an issue considering Green's lack of aggressiveness and power, and Klose's generally solid defense.
Even at -245, I'm liking Klose a lot here. In general, Klose is not a very exciting or amazing fighter, but he is remarkably solid, and a tough, annoying match-up for damn near anyone at 155.
