Ended up +1.7u. Means hurt me pretty bad.
What are you even talking about. Dont tail people if you cant handle a loss. Noone is selling bets here.
I hear you. But if those people actually believe what they are saying then I have no problem with it.I didn't tail anyone. Like i said above, I think the posters who relentlessly side with a specific fighter and argue to the bitter end that they are right are a problem. That is not how this community is supposed to operate imo.
I feel sad, it seem the line are really sharp or line getting sharper now. Only line is out is Cowboy vs Means because of the 1st fight.

no. that is not value, You capping using hindsightYou don't think Kelvin should have been -1000? Or that the under should have been -500?

We all know who those people are and when you've been around here long enough you'll learn not to take gimmicks and user titles and shit so seriously. 'That type' of poster will always be here. Not trying to be condescending, just take those guys with a grain of saltIt's not that. I really think it is important. These guys come in to the thread and post with the utmost confidence in certain fighters. They argue every single dissenting opinion until the other person gives up the argument. I think as a community we want to acknowledge the problems with this approach and the people who promote it.

i guess ur parlay got busted with shogun KO. how much would have u won?If they've done their research and are presenting WHY they are backing said fighter, not sure what the issue is.
You are kind of being confusing in asking for "accountability" and then turning around and complaining about someone who's right out in front telling everyone here who they are betting on. The accountability is built in.
I was absolutely HUGE on Ferg vs Khabib. I posted all the reasons why, repeatedly. A lot of my action was actually NOT Khabib itd and I posted the reasons why for those bets. If Khabib liked dessert a bit less, I'm confident I'd have added to my BR.
BUT....
...had Khabib come out and finished Ferg, all my posts would still be there. The "accountability" is that I made my bets clear prior to the event. If I'm wrong, everyone has read my rationale for my bets. If I say "Khabib doesn't do damage to good guard players" and then he goes out and smashes someone like Ferg, I've put my view out there prior to the fight.
I guess I'm not sure the issue you have.
You're a noob with no track record. Do what you're here to do and keep swinging from my nuts making me famousI suppose. The problem is a lot of these posters are perceived to be some of the biggest winners, and because of this their opinions are given more weight. If you want to argue that the individual is entirely responsible for finding the best information and if they listen to someone who is blindly pushing a specific fighter that is their fault then I won't argue with you. I am all for personal responsibility. I just think as a community this sort of approach from some of the most frequent posters hurts all of us.
My point is I think there is a lot of value in the lines we get. I was huge on Kelvin and under. I believe there was value in both and those lines were way off. "Value" is all about your perception. I am sorry you had a tough time with these particular lines, I hope you have an easier time on the next card. I disagree that they are getting a lot tougher. Parhaps they are getting slightly tougher, obviously oddsmakers should improve over time. I just do not think they are getting significantly better from card to card or even month to month.
