@Paul L - do you know anything about this big bastard? Not the greatest of resumes but at 6ft 11in and tipping the scales, seems like a fairly marketable Mexican heavyweight for one of the big promotions to stick on the prelims.
He struggled with a 5'8 natural light/welterweight and didn't look good in either standup or on the ground, questionable cardio too. He's also not 6'11 but more like 6'4 (similar built like Augusto Sakai but a lot less skilled) with a lot of excess fat.

I've been saying the same thing for years, the guy has all the physical tools.Smoldarev is one of those guys who has all the potential in the world, Imagine if he moved to the USA and started training at a top gym 5 years ago, he could have been a legit contender at HW.
Ji Won Kang (5-0) who did an upset against Amir Aliakbari in One Championship
Apparently Buchecha will face him in his first MMA fight in one month, that could end pretty ugly for him.Yeah, I did not see that coming. Big win for him.
OFC 3 features:
Alexander Maslov (6-1 striker, may very well drop to 205 in the future) vs. former UFC vet Luis Henrique KLB (13-6)
+
Oleg Popov (now 10-1, with solid wins) vs. Hugo Cunha (5-0 brazilian wrestler, made into the national team and qualified for worlds once)
