I still think Kovalev stops him within 5, but I realize he's an alcoholic fighter on the downside of his career, so...

This is a decent fight on now, Papin v Makabu, Papin seems to be timing him now in round 3

Good fight. Papin needs to focus on his opponent and forget about the ref...

He does seem to be vulnerable to the body a bit, too. Papin.
 
If Kovalev doesn't get lazy, he cruises to a wide decision and possibly stops Yarde late. However, if he becomes arrogant like he did against Alvarez in the first fight, and lingers in the pocket for too long he's going to get stopped.

I think Buddy McGirt will come up with a disciplined gameplan and they should be able to out jab Yarde to a UD win.

I have no confidence in Yarde doing anything significant at LHW. He has natural physical gifts, but too slow on the feet and flat footed. Quicker fighters like Bivol, or even Browne, will tear him apart.

Papin slowing perhaps, he was getting caught with some good bodyshots then
 
Makabu breaking Papin down is what it looks like to me at this point. I don't think Papin is going to win a decision, he needs to turn it around and stop Makabu or he's going to be stopped, I think.
 
Yarde will catch him early and hurt him,Kovalev will survive up until the 7th round, i'll take that round that Yarde stops him.

This is a pretty brutal beating for both guys at this point. Props to Papin for getting a second wind of sorts. He looked shot there in the 8th.

I missed the first few rounds of this but Papin seems to be taking a beating.
