Brown has a full-time job - http://www.ufc.com/fighter/damien-brown

TRAINING: A typical day of training for me is 2-3 hours around my full-time job (Shift Work). I try to mix it up between striking, grappling and conditioning at least once a day. Sometimes I will grapple only and others I will strike or condition only. To me it doesn't matter as long as I get my workload completed across the week. I do what I have to do to be ready.

Thoughts on opponent, Alan Patrick? To me, it’s just another fight and a different style to deal with. I had a brief look at his record, but otherwise I know nothing about him.

When and why did you start training for fighting? I trained and competed in martial arts most of my life. However, with a stint in the military and deployments, that all stopped for at least a few years. I'd had an operation in 2008 and needed to get fit again, so kickboxing was it. I started in January 2009, I had a couple of amateur fights and was convinced to do BJJ, which led to my first amateur MMA fight, and from there I was addicted.

What ranks and titles have you held? I have the XFC Australia and Brace Australia lightweight title and recently successfully defended the XFC belt. I'm currently ranked third in Australia/New Zealand.

Did you go to college and if so what degree did you earn? I never went to college. I left school early and completed an apprenticeship in Baking and completed some business and management courses.

What was your job before you started fighting? Prior to becoming a fighter, I was enlisted in the Australian Army as an Infantry soldier and posted to the 2nd Battalion.

If any, list ranks in any martial arts styles: Black Belt - Zen Do Kai, Purple Belt - BJJ

Favorite grappling technique: I don't really have a favorite - I just like being able to chain attacks together.

Checked fightmetric, Hunt has never fought a southpaw in the UFC, looks like the last time was 2005 vs Crocop...

Sounds like Eddiva is going to mix in some wrestling - http://www.ufc.com/fighter/Mark-Eddiva

Thoughts on opponent, Daniel Hooker? I believe the fight will mainly take place on the feet because he is a striker. But I believe that I can also fight him wherever the fight may lead - to the ground or standing.

How was Smith's takedown defense before the UFC? Because only 1 person has tried - Kaufman and was successful. Can't Nakai grind Smith out?

Surprised Andrade is the favorite. Didn't Andrade gas in the first round against Musoke?

They actually pulled all the props for that fight and replaced them. We both got in at the right time, though!

My fight DEC went from -120 to -210 lol

Yep, I saw these posts and went to bet Pearson by decision at +245 and the line got pulled right as I went to bet it. Jae, Pearson/Laprise DEC you got at -120? Holy moley!

Haha yeah. Max bet 1u. Waited around 10 minutes for the limit to reset and max bet it again at 1u. It had major value compared to the o2.5

Welp, they actually voided them and my NOT Laprise itd. Idk how those were "clean" line errors, though... How the fk do you mess up all of the props for that fight? I call bullshit. Both of their individual DEC props were mid +200s and were replaced at mid +100s. How is that a clear line error? It's not like they were mistaken for each other.

Well, in fairness, the over 2½ is -240, so how could the goes to decision prop be -120 after that?

My Pearson by dec line still pending...crosses fingers.

I believe they set these prop lines shortly after they made the o2.5 which was originally -155. Then after the o2.5 shot up to -240 and they had to redo all the props. They must've put up the 1st prop lines they had before the o2.5 jumped a lot. Only thing that makes sense to me. I don't know how else you can mess up every prop line

But yeah, I feel what you're saying. How am I supposed to know the Laprise NOT itd was a line error, though

Jouban rd 1 +100, BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

Wanted at least +140.

Just stuck Jouban itd into a couple open parlays and will leave it at that. Lame.
