Bellator 163 - McGeary vs Davis - Connecticut

Liam can tie up from the bottom and go for sub attempts, if Davis cant get off too many strikes and get tied up in sub attempts for long durations he can lose rounds while being in top position, not saying it will happen but its one way Liam wins a dec and we've all seen crazier things happen
 
I noticed there's no reduced lines for bellator. Are there usually reduced lines as the fights get closer? I'm wondering if I'll be able to get Daley at better than what he is right now (-140)
 
I can see why people think hitting McGeary dec is worth a flutter but i'd be very surprised. Yes judges are less rewarding of lnp but McGeary is basically a tap you or be dominated kind of grappler he isn't going to be able to hold Davis in his guard and throw up sub attempts for five rounds to steal rounds. I can see McGeary being pretty much ragdolled takedown wise so even if he gets back to his feet i see Davis getting him back down pretty easily. McGeary is clearly dangerous off his back but this also leaves him open to being passed easily. Newton had a lot of time in side control against McGeary. If Newton can pass his legs and have some control then Davis definitely can and I think Davis can sub him his kimura is very dangerous..

I don't think he can tie him up. He goes for broke from the bottom and if he doesn't hit his sub his guard gets passed. His style is not defensive at all it is get the sub or give up position.
 
Davis and karitonov double.. £100 for £177 square but couldn't find anything else I liked so laid that.

Reduced juice is only available on fight day. Nothing new here.
 
Just checked Marloes Coenen's twitter, says that her opponent came in 20lbs over (lol) and cut almost 15lbs after that but still came 5.6lbs short. Shes quite upset since she trained really hard and prepared really good mentally. Next fight for her will probably against Julia Budd for the 145lbs title.

I agree with what @JimGunn says and I like to add if Phil gets hurt he can go into a "defensive shell" as Rogan likes to say.
 
Two out of five bettable fights cancelled due to weight cutting issues. So lame.
 
mcgeary +275 and climbing...

i said i'd lose $ on him if he was +250 or above.. now just waiting for price to stop climbing.. (i favor davis 2/3 if not 7/10, but i think it's getting a bit out of hand, this is a funky fight, mcgeary is a funky dude)

ward awad are a pick'em now..
