UFC on ESPN 7 Overeem vs Rozenstruik

Aspen Ladd lost a few more lbs/kgs now it went straight to her head.

Smug miss confidence. Confidence through Ignorance. Ugh. That voice. Fingernails on chalkboard. Ugh. Miss confident country girl is getting the LOSS.
how confident are you on this? Ladd might be a one trick pony but it sort of works for her. Yana fights like she doesn't have any TDD.

What is your problem?

So calvillo missed weight by 4.5 lbs, what a cunt. I still think she will lose, I am not contemplating hedging on her.

You guys think Quarantillo will be able to wear down and stop Kilburn?

Calvillo 120,5 pounds
She should lose 60% of her purse. That’s ridiculous

especially with how smug she is about her weight issues and how great she thinks she is

Didn't True Acension say Jairzinho by TKO or something a few pages back, I can't argue against that guy. He shut me the fuck up about Israel vs Robert.
Yeah I lost on Whittaker too that and mad respect to @TrueAscension his picks are always worth a read in my opinion.
Not to shit on anyone but he did say Luque KO and Thompson was the one who almost had a finish before he broke his hands.
Said all that to say I'm interested in everyone's take. I didn't realize Overeem had been working with Blaydes who is known for strong grappling and solid top pressure. If the Reem can wear him down with grappling I could see him controling the pace. That said I think a ko/tko is likely for Jairzinho, I may play small on him and hedge live if the Reems starts to open up lmao.

At the current price I think value is on Kilburn ML/KO. The line should be alot closer in my opinion, Billy wasn't exactly winning his contender series bout before Kirk gassed badly.
Bums or not Kilburn won his last two by clean KO shots. I don't think he just rolls over to Billy's pressure without testing the chin of Quarantillo first and Jacob's power may find him success trading.

Good stuff, thank you.

Do you have any thoughts on Selecki/Wiman? I think I like Selecki ITD there but he has no power or technique standing and his ground and pound is wanting... Wiman has never been subbed but to me he looked helpless and shot against Pena so I may fade him as hard as possible, especially against someone 10 years younger...

Solecki is one of if not my favorite on the card. I thought his last bout was a good showing of his skill, everyone seemed worried about him facing a bjj guy in Wallace but I believe Joe is a BJJ blackbelt himself. I thought his striking and movement looked solid and that choke he put Wallace to sleep with was well done.
Partially a big fade on Wiman here I don't see why he is still in the UFC, only a little cautious because this is Solecki's debut bout.
I could see Solecki taking top position and finishin via sub or GNP like Pena did. It may go to decision if Joe plays it slowly Wiman may not be a killer but he has shown toughness and durability. I prefer ML bets but I could see Solecki getting a stoppage here if he paces himself.

Thank you, insightful stuff.

I want to do a small ITD parlay and I don't know if I trust Solecki enough to put him in there... Like I said, I think Wiman looked like a helpless shot old fighter last time out but I'm just afraid of 3 rounds of Solecki playing the human back pack and Wiman fighting hands successfully for 15 minutes...

@LiquidNuke if ya haven't seen it Solecki's last fight is a quick watch but I was still impressed with his rounded game and IQ.

Solid movement, good angles, and he even briefly switched southpaw for a few jabs.
As soon as Wallace threw a bad kick Joe caught it grounded Wallace and chain grappled his way to a smart finish.
As long as he doesn't fall off from some adrenaline dump or freeze under the lights his strength and BJJ should have him controling this bout throughout.
I'm unsure how he will pace himself but his ground game looks very educated he seemed very focused on position controling Wallace and applying pressure before finding his finish

Ladd SUB +650 is pretty crazy, may try to freeroll Yana action and just play that

I've seen it. With these contender show guys/new prospects I try to watch everything there is out there of them. Sometimes it helps, sometimes it doesn't. I did find this amateur bout and and have always thought this was a cool move, standing just makes it even cooler... Reminds me of that finish Jan Blak got not too long ago.

UFC Washington D.C. Staredowns- No Ceremonial Weigh-in today:

I really like Rodriguez over Cavillo. She just beat Tecia who was trying to go for takedowns and got shut down. Do we see another repeat here ? Stay long, jab and kicks at range with a decent clinch to avoid getting taken down or body locked.

Any thoughts on this matchup?
