If an infinitely powerful, infinitely moral god of the universe says we should throw gays off buildings, who are you to argue?
Before one can begin to untangle your question, a few questions need to be answered. First, what makes God (or god) moral? Is he moral because of what he commands, or are his commands moral because he commands them. This is the euthyphro dilemma. Is throwing gays off buildings holy because god commands it, or does god command throwing gays off buildings because it's holy?
