What's Your Next Purchase? V5

Agreed. But I wanted factory Izmash stamped mags.....just because. They used to be damn near impossible to get.

Normally I just use 12 rders or a drum.

Now I gotta look and see if any factory mags were purchased. I think just the drums and some AGP's.

MD Arms says it's coming out with a 33 round drum! Might need to unload a couple 20's beforehand.

Just got a new patent approved that makes all existing 12ga drums, including our MD-20 Saiga-12 drum, even more obsolete than our double stack patent makes single stack mags. 33rds in the same size package as the old 20rd drums. Can use the same concept to make a small 20rd drum the size of a current 12rd drum. That’s a 65% (33rd) to 66.667% (20rd) increase in ammo capacity with no added bulk and barely any additional weight (excluding the extra ammo)! This is real innovation...

I need that.

Just bought 2k more 9mm and 720 rounds of 300 blk.

Ammo is selling out extremely fast. I'd get on it if you want some. Right now there are still some deals that are only like $20-40 more per 1k than it was 2 weeks ago. I'm seeing quite a bit of price gouging though.

I can't get a clear picture of the reticle, it's frustrating. My phone doesn't want to focus on it. Anyway here's the best I got.

Edit forgot to crop down this first pic.

This marine Mossberg 500 will be my next firearm. I put off buying one for a few years because I already have a Mossberg Maverick 88 which is almost the same shotgun except for the foregrip, safety, and finish..

I just bought a new Springfield XDS9 in FDE.

At this point, I have so many pistols.. I have 3 Glocks and 2 Springfields.. I shoot more accurately with my Springfields then I do my Glocks.

My dream pistol is the Beretta PX4 Storm but like the Marine Mossberg, I never buy it when I'm in the gun shop... I also wouldn't mind the OD Green Beretta APX Centurion in a sub compact 9mm...

I will probably get the Mossberg with my Corona Virus check we are all supposedly receiving. I might get the Beretta and the Mossberg if I got enough..

It's so weird seeing an ACOG without a chevron. What models are those?

What do y'all think about LWRC's fully ambi lower? It's like $200 cheaper than the LMT MARS.
Being a lefty has never been a problem for me operating an AR, even during high stress shooting courses. Sending the bolt home is easy with my index finger. I do have an ambi safety on my 6920 though.

The ambi safety is really the best lefty upgrade and the closest thing to a need. Don't use the fuckin' safety though and problem solved. :)

That said, I like the Norgon mag release. There's a clone now that's $20 instead of $90 or whatever. The bolt catch is nice to be able to release with the right thumb, after inserting the mag.

This design in the link, where it's just the standard bolt catch but on the right side, sucks shit. I'll take a BAD lever over that.

Radian lower $340, grip $20 ish, bcm intermediate A5 buffer assembly $70 ish, forward controls design reinforced buffer retainer with spring $7, stock $50ish, quality trigger of your choice $50-200.

$537-687

As pictured with sales prices included $640. With a Larue mbt it would be $560.

A thing to keep in mind with Radian lower price is that it comes with a lpk 95% installed. It comes with their talon ambi safety, trigger pins. It only needs the trigger and buffer retainer. It also comes with another cool feature. SART, self adjusting reciever tensioner. Spring loaded tensioner, keeps fitment tight. A-DAC is ambidextrous dual action controls. The mag release is also a bolt catch.

Went to cabelas yesterday....looking for a new bow string(they had nothing). Holy shit....the line to buy a gun ran the entire length of the store. Over a 7 hr wait. There were all kinds of people in lawn chairs, ordering take out, fast food, etc. Crazy times.

What is left is extremely easy. Or just bring it to a shop and pay for install.

Geissele triggers can be somewhat a pita to install but there are drop in triggers where you literally drop the trigger in and push the pins through.

Then install the safety.

You can also adjust the cylinder to line up with the detent while putting it in so you don't have to adjust the levers multiple times or if that way is easier just do that.

The Radian takedown pin is already installed and the detent/spring it is held in with a set screw so you don't have to do that step.

With a drop in trigger it should take you all of 5-10 minutes to put this together. There is YouTube and people here that can further help if you need it.
