That's awesome. I love Kurosawa movies... and there hasn't been nearly enough awesome samurai games.

I haven't been this hyped for a game in a while.

I really hope the combat is more than just the generic AC+ shit I’m expecting.
I would love for it be like TLOU2 but I doubt it.

Wasn't really planning on buying this day one. These early impressions have my attention.

I'm craving a big open world to explore. Went back to playing Witcher 3 again (for the 3rd time). Was debating giving RDR2 another try. But this may be the game I'm looking for.

Optimized and AAA titles.
Last gen games of old console usually look as good as first gen games of new console.

The first lot of PS5 games are just shot in the dark PS4+ games. They’ll run better and look better, when you actually see the gameplay, but more consistently. Just don’t expect that WOW factor.

That’ll kick in a few years from now. And expect blown minds for the 3rd / last gen games of PS5. Like the PS4 has been doing since 2018.

Think I’m going to pass till November. When I upgrade the 1080p to a 4K HDR. Might as well enjoy the beauty of the game properly.

I have a massive backlog of AAA titles in my library to work through n keep me occupied anyways.

Appreciate the share, D. Clangs courtesy of a parry mechanic are music to my ears. With Nioh 2 DLC coming out in two weeks and this being a title I want to focus 100 on, timing was never my friend.

Isn’t this Kurosawa Mode just a play on the Dead Shot Mode cinematic from RDR2 ?
But nowhere do they credit that.
