Crime Police Shoot Man In Back, Riots and Unrest Ensue

unlike Twitter, police departments generally have processes for vetting their information.

Him having a knife on scene isn't some information you need to "vet." I've never once scene a police shooting where they withheld information that the suspect was armed.

Please provide examples of this if you have any.

To me the late reporting seems to indicate that they did not discover the knife on the scene, but probably in a later search of the car. Which means it's presence is in no way an excuse for the police to shoot him since they didn't know about it at the time.

”debunk my baseless claim.”

Police often do not issue statements on high profile happenings immediately. They interview the officers, suspects, watch available video, etc.

There is an eyewitness saying he heard police yell that he had a knife on him. This is at least the third time I’ve mentioned this ITT.

What are you talking about, they yell "drop the knife!" like 5 times in the video.

Stop just stop your using facts again.

Anyone who says “THEY SHOULD NOT HAVE SHOT SO MANY TIMES” has never handled a firearm and shouldn’t be allowed to have an opinion on one.

You would think they were talking about bolt action rifles and not something that can be emptied out in 2-3 seconds

For real. I had an argument with a co-worker who literally said they should have wrestled him with the knife or shot him in the leg.

Sherdog is for arguments. Real life is for kindness and high fives.

7 in the back is a bit aggressive.

I hope they see what happened to whatshisface that got his elbow blown the fuck out before people start advocating frivolously shooting out kneecaps

Uh, No they didn't. Quit spreading falsehoods. There's one witness that says he heard an officer say that, but witness testimony in stressful situations is really unreliable. If he the police actually said "drop the knife" 5 times, I think it would be heard in the video, it wasn't.

And again, if he had a knife on him at the scene that would have been reported by the police immediately. There was no reason to withhold that information for a week while the city burned down.

I'm not saying he didn't have a knife, but in self defense cases the one claiming self defense has to prove it. The word of the accused is not sufficient proof in most criminal cases.

Allegedly here is footage of Kyle punching an under-aged girl and being an aggressor before getting jumped. I am not completely sure it's him to be honest; I haven't read into it much besides seeing the video. His splitting image but he is not exactly unique looking.

Thought this would be fun to speculate because I do think it's silly anyone is labeling him a "hero".

You can't see shit in that video, definitely not enough to make a positive ID.

Blake had a knife which he told to the investigators according to Wisconsin AG.
Not all information is revealed if the investigation is ongoing, especially with high profile cases. Look no further than the cop's bodycam footage from the George Floyd-incident. Investigation means looking into all relevant and available details in order to know what happened.
Just because some people wanted to jump to conclusions and start applying mob-rule 'to get justice' doesn't make it OK.

The lazy ass is literally golfing right now

The left cant meme, the right cant govern

“It doesn’t matter what his criminal history is. He didn’t deserve to die!!” - Same people who wanted Nick Sandmann dead for wearing a MAGA hat.

And who are now focusing on a scuffle between some school kids that Kyle Rittenhouse was involved in.

But a wanted rapist, returning to the home of the woman he raped, threatening her, stealing her keys and refusing to leave, all while armed with a knife and then then fighting with police when they show up - that has no bearing on that person getting shot.
