Crime What did the cops do wrong today. Vol. 2

Didn't read the article but my opinion would depend entirely on the actual content of the comments rather than mere act of commenting.

During stormfronts reign there were Black Nationalists, Indian Nationalists and all sorts of ethnonationalists that were actually welcomed by the admins and moderators. There were also trolls of all sorts including white liberals.

I can't lie, when I was young I trolled stormfront. Took them about a month to sniff me out.

Will the day come when posting on far left wing sites like facebook and twitter are fireable offenses?

Did we finally find proof of that which we all fear, nazi police!? He should just say he was doing research right?

*Edit:two posts late...

Reminds me of those ESTA enhanced screening forms they give foreigners in the US which straight up asks if you're a terrorist. Imagine how dumb of a terrorist you'd have to be to go like "Oh, yep, that's me!" *ticks box*.

- Guy was pulled over , cuffed and arrested , all for making a wide right turn
- The father drives by and sees his son.
- Cop tells dad he will be arrested for blocking the roadway
- Dad pulls over and parks and starts videoing.
- Cop tells another cop to arrest dad for "blocking" the roadway even though he pulled over and parked and was standing on the sidewalk

Watch body cam video, shows everything

This same thug cop has been abusive in the past. In 2016 the cop entered a home without a search warrant and without approval of home owner. In 2018 he said women should not carry guns cause they can't protect children in a school shooting. He was reprimanded. He was demoted from Seargant to officer.

Yeah that seems pretty over the top.

I have to wonder though, if he had stood a bit back and kept his mouth shut, could he have recorded the whole encounter? Not saying the cops were in the right, but sometimes you have to play it a bit smarter than this guy did here.

Dad should have went on his way. Kids today are total shits because there parents have to be involved in everything.

Dad was only recording. He did the right thing. Son was arrested for just making a wide right turn. Totally abuse of the law to arrest him and then the dad.
The thug cop was just mad the dad was recording him, which is legal.

It's pretty bad from the very start.

It looks like battery and armed robbery to me. So fire and charge the Police SGT with both.
But the city does not need to be on the hook for millions because of his actions.

The father was well within his rights and followed the lunatic's orders.

Good find though...this is it!

The father was well within his rights and followed orders to a tee.

Dad and son shouls sue the city for everything they can get. Only when cities start being financially punished will they start to clamp down on abusive cops.

the son could have fought the arrest in court. Instead dad wanted to be a busy body. I like how he was defiant to the cops and then when he got pepper sprayed he was whining for help. You push the situation, prepare to deal with the consequences.

No, they should sue the lunatic and that is what they are doing.

I don't think cops can be sued? Need a lawyer to chime in
The problem is the Union. LEOs should not be allowed to have Unions, cause it is hard enough holding them accountable as it is.

The title of the article you linked is:
"Texas Man Sues Police Officers Who Pepper-Sprayed Him for Recording Arrest:

The very first sentence is:
"A North Texas man is suing two police officers who arrested and pepper-sprayed him while he was recording the arrest of his son."

And later it says:
"Officers Ankit Tomer and Blake Shimanek are named in the suit. Shimanek was the officer arresting Dylan Puente and ordered
Tomer to arrest the older Puente."
