UFC 260: Stipe vs Ngannou 2

There's a few more, he doesn't just get stopped, he's getting put out cold and relatively easily. That seven fight run he went on was vs cans, his defence marginally improved but it's still all high guard and hope. Mullarkey's a good enough boxer to figure that out.

Thanks man, yeah I saw that Bessette KO. He gets hurt early and never seems to recover, both men back and forth trading KO blows though. I'll take a chance on Khama, he has at least improved his head movement.

I'm more worried about the wrestle fuck from Jamie honestly. Something about Mullarkey, his TD's aren't bad, neither is the technique in his punches. Just seems like the guy has the tools but just doesn't blend his game together. If he strikes he doesn't set up any of his shots and it's usually 1 or 2 shots without any really combos or pressure. When he wrestles he rushes transitions and loses position constantly.

I could see Jamie grinding out a decision but I have a hard time seeing him stopping Worthy here.

The point he's trying to make is that worthy's chin is more fragile than china glass.

This is the betting thread, people are reading it to potentially gain insight to make informed decisions about the wagers they place. What you just said is hyperbolic, innacurate, and not something constructive for those hoping to gain insight and make more informed wagers.

Post away about how Khama has no chin because he was knocked out a lot 5-6-7 years ago when he was getting paid $100 a fight and fighting at Featherweight. Bet the house on a guy that has a -2.5 striking differential because he throw one strike a minute knocking out a guy that owns a boxing gym.

I am not even going to waste my time.

Why are you telling me all this? You asked what Jordan meant by his post and I answered it to you. On that very same page he already said Worthy's chin is made of pure glass but I guess you're blind... I'm not even betting on this fight nothing I said were of my thoughts you clown.

Francis already had a decent sort of defensive wrestling game when he was way greener. In his debut he fought Henrique who spams takedowns and is a world champ in Jits.
Wait, Henrique is a jiujitsu world champ? Since when? Did you mistake him for someone else, perhaps? I’m pretty sure he’s a black belt but I’m also pretty sure he’s not a world champ.

Not O'malley ISD at -115? Is Almeida's chin that shit? I know Sean can strike I'm just having trouble looking past the durability questions. I wonder if the guy just doesn't handle pressure well at all, I kinda get that vibe but maybe I'm wrong. Still a broken foot in one fight. Another leg injury in his last fight. Then his DQ win as an amateur.

I know this was long ago and an amateur fight but still a bad look to me. He nearly gets tkoed by a 0-0 amateur fighter and gets saved after playing up illegal strikes for a DQ win. Kinda reminds me of JP Buys. That and the way he was rolling around like a pro soccer player after the Vera loss just leaves a bad taste in my mouth. This could be a great match up for Sean but I just don't trust him when he isn't the only one landing strikes. Seems like he can turn mush quickly when things don't go his way.

I could have sworn Rogan or Goldie mentioned it in his debut or another fight. Fact-checking myself now and can't find anything. I stand corrected, my bad.

I'm going pretty heavy on FDNGTD at -200.
Seems like O'Malley is kill or be killed.

U2.5 for baukaskas vs olekzejzuk and gillian vs maverick look good imo. A quick finish is very likely, especially in the first one.

Waiting for the omalley vs almeida fdgtd line.

U2.5 for Maverick/Robertson?

In your opinion who gets the finish?

Thinking there’s a chance that Shane young could out volume Omar morales and steal a decision. That pressure style could work against him here with morales though. Young hangs out in the pocket and relies a bit too much on his head movement for my liking against a big puncher who’s always looking to return shots.

seems like young may land more but morales will land the more significant strikes.
I’m figuring the line will be somewhere in the +250 range. I think I’d like +300.

young got hurt by a jab from l’dovit klein and was finished by blazing combination in his last fight. Morales was thoroughly out struck by the skilled kickboxer giga chickadze in his 145lb debut

think the line should be a bit closer. Value will likely be on young decision. Morales is more likely to get the finish. Don’t see young getting a stoppage in many scenarios.

probably a closely contested striking match here.
Youngs ml is +150

With Stipe being in a few wars lately and Francis training wrestling with 30% man + Latifi, I can't see how Stipe beats him again. I think the first 1-2 rounds are going to be a nervous feel out process for both fighters with Stipe maybe even landing a takedown and wasting a round. I'm going to bet Francis KO rounds 3,4 and 5.

Also Luque by decision will be nice, Woodley just gets beat up but I don't think he'll let himself get finished by Vicente.

No problem, I think they could’ve said that but I can’t remember. I’ve heard people call themselves a bjj world champ and when I look into it they’ve won some competition that was open for people around the world (doesn’t mean anyone travelled there anyway) at like blue belt category. Like come on bitch, how are you a world champion if it was blue belts only?

That’s like... Not it. Anyway, back to fights and bets, gentlemen!

I mean when I wrote that, I figured thats exactly what it was, a world champ at a lower belt class. Nothing like ADCC etc

Tyron Woodley is the best dog on this card. He knows he is facing a cut if he loses and will fight the most safest fight to win no matter what. Luque is a good fighter but he has no experience fighting 5 round fights. Tyron has 6 five round fights and has looked lack luster against top competitors but luque is fighting a step higher in competition so he will have a lot to adjust. And five round fights are different pace. If Woodley survives to the later rounds he can win this by out wrestling and pushing him against the cage and winning a wall and stall boring 5 round fight.

I still need to tape it but I don't hate the price on Maverick. Robertson just seems like a one trick pony to me. She needs to control her opponents with grappling to win and I'm not sure she has the wrestling to initiate it.

Just seems like she hasn't been improving much. I haven't looked into this camp but I remember a few highlights from before the Santos. She left ATT with Din Thomas to go train but didn't really seem to have a team or any real training partners.

Her last camp seemed to consist of her taking a road trip with Din more than anything. She actually ended up in my neck of the woods about an hour away passing through Upstate Karate and stopping to spar/train at Wonderboy's gym briefly. Still seemed like more of a site seeing tour than a camp, Thomas has the video posted on youtube.

Just seems like her training isn't where it needs to be and she isn't able to make the improvements she needs. I think leaving ATT to follow Din Thomas might have been a bad career move for her.

Whoa humility and admitting you were wrong on the internet. This is more rare than something very rare! Lets make this the norm here!

No need for dick measuring! Lets help each other win $$$

Just IMO bit I think he is a bit of a headcase. Not someone I want to rush into betting against. If a good version of Tyron shows up he is scary af.

This is a 3 round fight
