UFC 260: Stipe vs Ngannou 2

Yup, against dc who was lighter too.

First 5 minutes are gonna be nerveracking, for sure. Just like the first one. 30 lbs is a bit much imho.
Might be more than that depending on how much each man rehydrates. I'm going to guess Ngannou actually had to cut to make that weight.

I'd be pretty surprised if he just so happen to walk around at 263. He's shredded to the gills and even at a conservative 5 lb cut, that's a 34 lb difference. The percentage is obviously different but we're talking about the raw weight difference between a bantam and welterweight.

Doesn't he have shaky cardio? I want to say cardio is Marc's thing. I'm just putting together a parlay and I like the option of a push at that price.

Has Barriault ever looked this good at weigh ins?

Around -200 give or take. Although im a lil cautious how bad he looked in his FW debut.

Giga Chad is pretty elusive and has awkward timing. Morales doesn't know how to pressure effectively so Giga Chad just easily picked him apart at range. I don't think his issues in that fight will be present here because Young is gonna give him the kind of fight he wants.

I'll be the first to admit I have yet to watch the Burns/Woodley fight all the way through. I'm watching the first round now and seeing him get put down in the first minute of the fight is just........sad. I didn't bother watching the Covington fight, but essentially what I see is just that he's not only hesitant, he's athletically shot. He's slow. He can't explode anymore. Burns kind of hit him with a few body kicks Woodley couldn't even get his arms down in time to block. I mean, that one exchange where Burns landed the body kick and left hook with 20 seconds left to go in the first and Woodley just completely whiffs that overhand right and tries to clap/cheer himself into the fight is just a sign to me he knows his weapons are just gone.

He's not a volume guy, he hasn't wrestled in ages; I'm not going to be mad at anyone who thinks he changes the tide in this fight, but man.......He's done........So sad.
im more shocked that Din Thomas (his so called friend) is even coaching him here. Like you have watched this guy decline rapidly and you're still going milk him for a paycheck? Din must be really falling in and out of love with him.

V Luque To Win By Decision or Tec. Decision @ +140 is looking pretty spicy.

piece him up, avoid the big right hand, rinse & repeat for 15 min

Luque is a finisher. He's finished pretty much everybody he fought when he won. I think the only fighter he never finished was Mike Perry and I put Mike Perry in the ultra-durable category of fighters. Out of Luques wins, 11 finishes 1 decision, so +140 when he's fighting a guy who seems washed and unmotivated when Luque's a proven finisher doesn't seem like a good price to me.

Luque brawled it out with Perry for 15 mins. Woodley wouldn't survive something like that at this point

That apex small cage doesn't leave much room to move or margin for error. Looks like he is only about 10lbs lighter than the first Ngannou fight though.

I am not too bothered by cage sizes. IMO and I even think UFC verified it with stats that cage size doesn't make a difference. Slipping and weaving is a game of inches not feet. Obviously you don't want to end up with your back on the cage but you can circle forever on both cage sizes. I am sure it is a contentious point but thats my 2c.

I mean, what's he gonna say, "I can't coach this guy?" I mean all he's got to do is yell at him to do something. Doesn't matter what exactly lol.

I'd say it is on a case by case basis. I think it has potential to favor wrestlers and limit people who rely on footwork. Hard to say though I don't think it is something you can really get a good idea about off of stats.

Ha good one. If you're worried about that how about Robertson leaving ATT to train in Din's garage? Apparently there is a video of him just sitting there in Gillian's corner saying nothing while Barber was tkoing her against the cage.

Yo anyone looking for a last minute titan fc 68 lean Ryan "Third Street Savage" Kuse probably gets a GNP TKO. Anyone have an opinion about Spike the Alpha Ginger Caryle tonight in the LFA main event?

Fun note from the weigh ins for you fellows who care. While both Fabio and Gooden made weight they also needed to make 2 attempts to cut half a pound. I believe they were around the last to weigh in.

Woodley seemed to show up near the end too. I'm already fading all 3 but it is a small confidence increase in my opinion.

i think tyron is sneaky durable. He's really only been finished once in 10 years by marquardt -- and then his previous fight he was stopped but that was due to injury as well as getting beat.

He's not gonna slug it out but I think he can last 15 min

I'm on Spike... I think he won against Billy Q and he wasn't himself in his second UFC fight... He's a bit wild and inconsistent but I think he is coming in with loads of confidence which is big for a fighter like him.

Thanks man, I'll probably take a stab if KusE cashes. Spike is a much better striker.
