Bellator 255: Pitbull vs Sanchez 2

Why not just check the tapology picks? I like the idea but what stops casuals from flooding the vote picking their favorite fighters? Especially on the pay per view cards.

I bet you if we did a poll we'd probably come up with a different result. I've seen this message board make better picks by users than the average tapology user. They don't have to defend their votes. We debate are picks and go back and fourth which allows us to make a better well thought out pick.

I cant remember the first pitbull/sanchez fight.

Brief update?

Clear decision for Freire if I remember right although the judges had it much closer with scores of 48-46, 48-47, 48-47.

Always fade the general public. Tried and true in almost every sport

Good example above, 80% on Gracie, even odds. I'm taking Jackson

I don't follow NFL for shit but every man and his dog were on KC in the SB...

Not saying I bet with the casual money if I can help it but I like to see every angle I can, pointless or not it reflects something. That and he asked about a polling system specifically. I only watch mma and I assume SB means super bowl and that somebody beat a team from Kansas? I almost wish I was kidding.

Am I really about to pay -350 for a magomed/nurmagomedov parlay...

I think they're actually priced right.

Nobody else feeling fade on Huerta? I know Gonzalez only has 5 fights but Huerta is 4-11 in his last 15 fights and 1 was a DQ win. In six bellator fights Roger has only won once and that was in 2010... Not hard to imagine what the match makers were thinking here.

Incredibly close fight tied 2-2 going into the 5th and final round, where Patricio Pitbull knocked down Sanchez to seal the win.

That's a good rule of thumb, but there are a ton of exceptions.

To use a very recent example, there was way more action on Blachowicz than there was Izzy, something like 66% of the money according to a BetOnline e-mail...and he won.

Nothing is 100% accurate or we would be loaded and bookies wouldnt exist

I doubt they send out reliable info either

A better rule for me is more total bets on fighter A, but more money on fighter B. Take fighter B

But general rule, fade public sentiment. Works in stocks, works on betting 2 team sports, it works. Majority if people are wrong majority of the time...

78% on Watanabe over Lara?

If I recall right Huerta had okay first round vs older Freire but even then got knocked out.

Yeah I was surprised with all the Watanabe picks too considring the line. Man I really think the wheels are off Huerta by now. Roger had his moments against the older Pitbull but he looked bad to me. Bad footwork, slow as hell and his strike defense was terrible. I'm not done on Gonzalez but I like that he is a former Greco world team wrestler. Gonzalez should be able to score takedowns and maybe even get another GNP finish here.

I have already played Gonzales but the thought of:

El Matador coming for the kill this time.

scares me a bit lol. Sometimes these things just happen. (Like Ellenberger becoming the first to tko Brown while being on a horrible skid himself).

<WhatIsThis>
What?

*Edit I didn't realize both Sanchez and Huerta are "El Matador"

The original and the best, Roger.
You think he has it in him? Seems like the guy only has one solid round of cardio these days. His last legitimate win was nearly 5 years ago and even that was a split decision. He probably still has a striking advantage but I think Gonzalez just out works and probably out wrestles him here.

9/10 of Jordan’s posts consist of him trolling this board or arguing with paul

90% of this card is so mismatched. I’m projecting that maybe two at best underdogs will win . This has the makings of another big parlay win .
