I believe Usyk is a better boxer than Joshua. However, Joshua is a good enough boxer that his size advantage is going to play a big factor in this fight.

I've got Joshua winning. Either by KO or wide UD.

Joshua's combination of size and skill make him the best overall fighter at HW.

his point is he had only been boxing for 2 years prior to the Olympics

......and it showed!

I jest, I jest......though he did get schooled by Savon’s kid in the first round.

Edit: nephew. Forgot Savón preferred the company of young boys.

most fighters 2 years in to the sport are no where near that level, no matter how good they turn out to be. To even get to represent your country within that space of time is exceptional.

Sure, don’t disagree.

He was still gifted at least 2 decisions in that comp, though.

History is distorted in that respect.

And he started 4-5 years earlier, not 2. Late, but not that late.

Sparring is part of the sport and part of the fight. Therefore not getting knocked out / concussed in sparring is part of it too.
Joshua boxed a different fight in the rematch, kept the distance, moved his feet, used his jab, avoided mid-range exchanges with Ruiz.
That's what viewers will see when watching the footage in hindsight... Not any concussion stories from online people.

Funny enough, that particular sparring partner was roughly the same height / built as Ruiz... So wether it is a matter of styles when he exchanges with those guys, a matter of mental pressure or a matter of his chin (David Price and Wladimir Klitschko floored him in sparring too), we don't know.
But we know that Joshua is vulnerable regardless who's driving the Anti-Fury-Bus.
You might have a point but getting floored by Price and Wlad doesn't mean you have a bad chin. Those two are two of the hardest hitting HW's of the last 20 years.

But the Fury fight was going to be in Saudi?! Seems odd to say the least.

You do realise that Usyk is a completly different opponent and this fight wasnt made in 2 days?

This fight will show us if a smaller & skilled fighter can beat a freaky and well rounded HW athlete

Usyk's best quality is his stamina and workrate in the 2nd half of fights, so if he can get through the first half without taking too much damage, things could be interesting in the second half. Usyk is plenty hittable, though, especially early in fights, and Joshua's jab has gotten a lot better, to the point that Usyk might have a fair bit of trouble on the outside. I actually think that Usyk's frame isn't his biggest issue, it's his defense.

Because AJ Fury clearly belongs in a UK stadium but that wasn’t even on the table a few weeks ago. Just seems odd to me.
A month later makes the difference. UK government still aren't giving straight answers on when fans are allowed back in for things like this. A lot of festivals that were supposed to be in July/August have been pushed back to September because they're having serious trouble securing insurance. Boomtown and Isle of Wight festival come to mind as examples.

I think that's because of the MTK Global connection to Fury. Without them Saudi is off the cards.
