Are you being forced to take the vaccine at work?

Go take the vaccine and do a TikTok jig with your sleeves rolled ALL THE WAY UP.

Wear a Larry Holmes shirt that says “2nd greatest jab ever” and dance with a full size hypodermic needle you fucking losers.

{<Scared}

Holmes did have an all-time top three jab at heavyweight but was he #2? Or does that spot belong to Sonny Liston?

Nah, you're right. It's a close call but Holmes could win a fight solely on his jab alone if he had to. So, that makes Liston #3. Though Foreman doesn't get enough credit for his IMO.

Nope but hundreds of millions have already played guinea pig with the Pfizer and no-one's dropping dead, no zombie apocalypse etc so I took the first dose and number two in a couple of weeks.

I really don't see why you wouldn't at this point?

tough comp, as for me? I always thought it was ironic that the fighters most known for the jab are almost always heavyweights, a division where brawn and strength have always been more important than science and the jab is as Patterson once said, makes boxing different from fighting.

Yeah I've got my Pfizer this week, same as you bro, might as well.

But i'll be fucked if I post a photo on social media about it, those people fucking annoy me and can get fucked.

You guys probably wouldn't believe me if I said there's two middle aged guys on my street both poorly right now with Covid, both double vaccinated.

Taking the AZ vaccine isn't a ticket to anything.

I don't think you understand the science of it all chap, the vaccines reduce the chances of you getting it, they don't prevent transmission and they reduce the severity of the infection if you get it. So your two neighbors for example could be hospitalised etc if they hadn't been vaccinated.

If something with a 2% kill rate landed (legit across the board not 80 year olds) society would collapse.

Just look at the overreaction from this.

Covid-19 has killed more people than the London blitz and we mobilised the country against that. America started a war after a couple of thousand were killed by terrorists, this has killed over 500,000 over there.

Again I don't think you appreciate what kind of reactions occur and I'm not sure you are able to judge the reactions reasonableness.

We sound very similar. Im an outcast that doesn't like being around people.

Maybe this is part of why.

Still amazed how no one cares that if you have already had covid you are naturally protected. Everyone wants to pretend the only protection possible is from the vaccine. This is anti science BS.

The level of antigens you can have from a mild infection is considerably lower than those provided by just one vaccination, let alone two. Which you'd know, if you understood the 'science' you are referring to. You seem not to as you used a term like 'naturally protected', rather than something like 'an amount of immunity', or 'some antigens'.

I work for myself. I did send myself a notice of intent to terminate unless vaccine compliant.
I wrote back to myself and said no one tells this homeboy what to do. This is Murica!
So, now I'm unemployed...crap.
Trying to get back on under an alias.
I know a dentist who is a fervent antivaxxer. He runs his own business so no problem there but of course he still has to ask for masks just so he looks like he's on code. I don'[t think he'll get the vaccine until shit starts getting hard for him, meaning, not being able to get into costco or maybe keep his kids in school etc.., Right now, he's on a family vacation, i could see him in a few different fucked up scenarios with his attitude.

I thought about Foreman for a little there. Sonny too. Those powerful men would jab from the outside as a means to either draw a fighter close or push them to the ropes. After enough jabs they’d be begging to get KO’d. Holmes jab was there all day long and he’d use the jab(and feet) to draw fighters into another jab, lol. Was beautiful choreography.

Might be a watching black and white boxing kind of night tonight.

Technically, yes. But I was already vaccinated months ago. They also force me to wear clothes at work, and I am not allowed to drink alcohol while working, even though I believe that is a medical decision that should be left up to my discretion.

No.

I took it because I don't want teh Covid and also don't want to pass it on to others.

not here, but I was frigging glad when it became available to me. due to my age and not a lot of work-related interaction with people, I was one of the last groups of people to be offered.

in seattle, people got the shot fast, so fast that it was easy enough to even walk in for a shot without an appt. still, idiots are supposedly still getting it even here and we haven't been hit like many other parts of the country.

I chuckled to myself when I saw the sign telling people not to take photo's of the facilities or staff(quite reasonable) but finished with Vaccine Selfies allowed!!!

*sigh*

they also force us to wear seat belts. there are a lot of parallels between vaccine and seat belts. both are to protect you in case of infection or accident. both are also to protect others around you - you dont wanna smash your head into the back of the head of a passenger in front of you. both dont save you 100%, and in some case can cause death - severe side effects of a vaccine, getting trapped by a seat belt in a burning car. yet, the overwhelming majority of people wear seat belts, unless they are mentally stuck in the rebellious teenage phase. but it is different with vaccines. fucking people...

That was my point.

And BTW, for those who cry about this shit, the government hasn’t mandated that everyone must get vaccinated. But some employers are mandating it, as is their right to do. Just like they can drug test job candidates. The same people who bitch about this never had a problem with drug tests administered by employers.

cept you're not technically forced to wear a seat belt. it's still a choice which many do choose not to wear.

sure it's law, but you don't have to prove you wore it to get into Costco.

it's not a good comparison

Nah, it's not been mentioned at all (I work for a university).

They're grown brats for swearing and yelling at me when it's literally the first time I've met them. Flippin neanderthals and not an apology in sight. I shouldn't have to feel completely uncomfortable at work and sworn at for doing my job.
And no, not everyone not getting the vaccine is a dick, but I know in the UK for example you're going to have to provide proof just to go to the pub. So not having it sounds a bit silly.

You're definitely in a more unique situation than the rest of us . . . you deal with it first hand. Receptionists deal with crap regardless of COVID.

Nope, but I want to travel, and it seems pretty likely that being vaccinated is gonna be a requirement.

Whatevs tho, I ain't scurred of the jab.

And honestly I think there's very little legitimate skepticism about the vaccine. Most of it is just the same tribalism that seeps into fucking everything these days.
